Why does you government think, that you have to learn so much, that's unfair. Free time is also important for teenagers, not just school If you would tell this our government or a teacher they would laugh and ignore you. The Dutch teenagers here are known for "complaining but accepting" everything... it would be ridiculous to start something against this, unfortunately. Our teachers are also like that... They always say, that they understand us but in the end they don't care about our free time My previous English teacher said a few years ago this: Teacher: So, as we will see us in 2 days again, here you have some tasks to do Student: But that's so much... Teacher: Tomorrow, the school is closed, so you have enough time to do all this tasks Like whateven... The day was invented to relax and not to study the whole day -.-

Here in The Netherlands we have days called "study days" (studiedagen), but on those days teachers have to study for themselves. They can't study and have an annoying class to control at the same time. If this was the case then I kind of understand it. Here we get mostly no homework for the first few days after holidays. We don't even have random free days.

We don't even have random free days. I don't remember, but we didn't have school on this day for a specific reason
