I mean, personally I'd have nothing against it representing Lebanon. But in fact, I prefer if it stays fair and by the rules, for everyone And yeah, this guy was born in Romania, has lived in Romania, still lives there and he appeared on several music shows in Romania. His music style is far away from Romanian musicstyle and all his songs are in arabic so dont see a problem ! show me the rules for jnvsc cant find them!

Just because I sing flamenco, doesn't mean I can represent Spain. And if you ask me, the song is "typical Romanian house", just in Arabic. 2. See my Adelรฉn post. He's still from Romania no matter what language he sings in. If the song was Italian, would you want it to represent Italy? 3. ovsc.proboards.com/thread/12253/junior-north-vision-contest-update and anyway obviously most NVSC rules apply for JNVSC as well as it's not an independent contest.

Thats not what i say you make your own words. I live also in netherlands so that isnt a valid reason. The rule say not far away roots. Its his father. I didnt do something wrong. Plus it was stupid to decline Adelen back then that isnt my fault. 3. Thanks for the link I am not in the mood to discuss more! Lebanon withdraw! No JNVSC for me anymore!

But the rules say: "Singers must be from the country or their parents have to (no far descent)"
Does it have to be both parents?

A 'supernova' to return for Sweden!SVT has just confirmed an ongoing participation in the Junior contest and revealed that the singer Nova Miller (13) would represent Sweden once again at the ninth Junior North Vision Song Contest with her song "Supernova". Miller has previously represented Sweden at the fourth edition, finishing in sixth place.
Good luck to Nova!

Sooo lete tell you his story He was born, raised and still living in Romania. His father *or both parents, I don't know for sure* is born in Lebanon. Omar participated in Next Star where he came on the stage like a typical Romanian guy. Sonehow, the juries found out that he had some connection with Lebanon and, trying to get something not so ordinary, asked him for more songs in Arabic. So he started to sing in arabic and wear national costumes and then he won, especially for these features. For me it's logical that now the songs that are produced for him are in arabic, as he won a contest with these arabic influence *even tough im not sure that he actually knows arabic* So that's pretty much his story, you should bear it in your mind when making a decision about this participation Hope it was helpful

I think the rules here dont need to be so strictly like in NVSC. I guess its pretty difficult to find singers for countries like Lebanon.
