Pls why are so many people (50% atm) too lazy to take the trouble to actually type their full choice behind the letter, like Jeffry asked? Can't you do him just one little last favour, as a final mark of gratitude for all he's done for the contest? Is that really too hard for you? For example Me I barely swing around this site much and just saw this thing?

I really loved this contest, but I think things went bit over the top. Which easily killed it off...also the constant failing because I didn't send something
A, popular by western artists B, rather overused
My passion for the contest dropped by every edition so...I honestly don't really have an opinion either about what you should do.

Sorry if it's very bad and it's a bit later.
A: LYSC retires, no replacement. This contest is something original and never been here in the forum so please no.
B: LYSC stays around, but goes further under a new name, new format and concept, creating new countries by all users. Personally I don't get this one. I understand that it's meant as a restart but I don't think this would lead anywhere helpful as there is the possibility (which is not low imo) that it would lead to what we have right now.
C: LYSC stays around, but goes further under a new name, new format and concept, able to use the same countries. This is something I'd support if I was participating. Also it's lots of work to start it again.
D; A democratic revision of the contest, where all participants decide on the rules. This is the best option imo. However as there are 50 people who would decide them. That means it could result in a lot of trouble.
E: A democratic revision of the contest, where the LYSC staff decides on the rules. The best option along with D for me. It's better as there are only a few people deciding the rules. However that's also a minus point for it as the other way round everyone has a say. (hopefully understandable).
F: Someone else should take LYSC over and decide. (tell me who it should be in your mind) Tbh. I don't really now much about this contest and how it's ruled so I can't say a lot. However I think Jeffry is doing a good job (but people seem to be not appreciate it a lot ----> 25% of DSQ's this edition). If this one gets chosen there should be a new thread where people can apply and then there is a poll who should be chosen. (or something like that) There was already someone who applied and it sounds a bit too arrogant (especially as she chose herself)
G: Go back to a real world countries contest. Same like at A. It is something unique so it shouldn't be done. And there is already another fantasy contest so many people would go there and leave this one for good.
H: Fuck off with your poll, I'm not bothered anymore. No comment at this one.
Hopefully I could help a bit.

Thanks for the replies. I've made a decision. Please stay, you've built it up this far, it would be a shame to go

flagerezinhalla As a nation we will continue to stand with LySC and hope it maintains the awesome contest it still is. We are also able to send help if it is needed. We vote for D and E as the contest should stay. The long term users have stuck with it as the contest is unique and really brings music together without the euro origins and politics. For LySC

I hope the right decision will be made and hopefully LySC will become as fun again as it used to be.
