Oh, and while this one is far from the worst (though it's in my bottom 3 from that year), I have to give it a mention for having imo the worst performance of the contest's history
(Were the set designers on acid? :0)

^At least 'Cry Baby' was only out of tune at the beginning. tAtu were out of tune for the whole thing, and they still somehow came 3rd #fame.

I thought everyone loved football helmet dancer women!" - an Austrian culture enthusiast (omg this blows)

I don't consider Israel 2000 to be up there with the worst. The song is pretty catchy, and the singers are trying so hard to fail that it's funny And the worst ESC song of the 20th century (imo) is... The performance is really cringey, and they don't even bother to try to sing half the time. I find it really insulting that this finished 8th The difference is what you think about Israel 2000 is false, the singers were just bland and lame. Not on purpose. Israel 1987, on the other hand, was a joke entry. It was made to laugh at ESC and see if it would go well. It's like "We Are The Winners" + "Love Love Peace Peace" all together...

I know Israel 1987 is a joke entry - I just don't think it's particularly funny. At least "We Are The Winners" had some decent singers, and the song was really catchy. That being said, music is a very subjective medium
