UPDATE!
Firstly Merry Christmas everyone, I hope everyone has enjoyed their Christmas. As you may be aware I have not been very active with the Pacific Song Contest recently, this is due to my lack of computer access (I have had a mobile). I am very happy to see so many confirmations for the next edition in Russia as well as some song entries. I am not been up to date with the reminders and also not stated whether you could post song so I understand why people haven't (for future reference, as soon as a the thread for a contest has been opened you may post your entries).
Now that the Christmas season is coming to end unfortunately, I am going to start daily reminders for confirmation entries. I have decided that these will be the following deadline:
CONFIRMATIONS: 29TH DECEMBER ENTRIES: 30TH DECEMEBER
I hope these work for everyone as I am aware that for many people (myself included) this is probably the busiest time of the year, but I am returning to school very shortly into 2018 and I would like to get the recap videos and banners done when I have more free time. If people have an issue with these timings they can be altered.
Finally, thank you to everyone for you patience. Please confirm and send your entry if you haven't already.

TAIWANESE ENTRY The artist who will represent Taiwan in Pacific Song Contest #2 is the famous Jolin Tsai. Taiwan chose this song, We're All Different, Yet The Same because of the meaning, which is show how in China (and more countries of Asia) the LGBT aren't well seen. The plot of the song is based on a real story. Here you have it. Please enjoy it ^^ The MV is based on a true story, and the greatest controversy in this tale, was the fact that the hospital wouldn't commence the operation without family consent, and the lifelong partner of the patient was not able to provide legal consent, due to the country not recognising same sex partners. As their relationship was not acceptable in traditional views, the patient had not been in contact with her family for over 20 years. The partner tried to contact any relative, finally being able to locate a distant relative, who agreed to come over when he finished sleeping~ so you could imagine how helpless the partner felt at the hospital as she watched and waited while the love of her life died. The actual translation of the name of the song is "Different, But So What." The younger version of the Partner is famous Taiwanese Actress Ruby Lin. Both of Asia's leading Pop Idols, whom neither are lesbians themselves, through their fame and influence, endorsing same sex marriage, or at least recognition for it so that similar tragedies don't repeat itself. I guess the scene of their wedding is their pursuit or hope for a world in which their romance is accepted and celebrated. The dialogues translation:#1 Nurse: Excuse me, are you family member of Chou Shou Man? Woman: Yes. Nurse: And may I ask what's your relation to her ?
#2 'I have these forms here with the information, excuse me, what is your relation to the patient?'
'We’re friends. Best of friends. We’ve been living together for 30 years. I am her closest of kin! '
'But we still need a familial relation to sign the form.'
'Please. Please.... .'
“…It’s in our policy and we have to abide by the rules.”
#3 Nurse: Excuse me, are you family member of Chou Shou Man?
Woman: Yes.
Nurse: And may I ask what's your relation to her ?
Woman: She’s my wife. (Timeslot -> 2:20 - 2:45)
