Australia will be sending This Is Living - Hillsong Young & Free Nice song, but I do miss the explanation. Would you mind adding that, so that I can accept the entry?

No idea why I got tagged here but as I’m apparently invited to this contest, I guess I might try it.ARYChildhood Dreams2:08+This isn’t even my favourite ARY song, yet it is the one which restored the connection between my sister and me. She suffers from clinical depression and has withdrawn herself quite a lot from her family. One day, I saw her listening to Childhood Dreams on Spotify in our car after the song was released, and we started talking about ARY and her wonderful discography, which quickly grew into an insight into each other’s tastes in music. It was the first long, relaxed, and genuinely happy conversation that the two of us had after so many months, and it was definitely a turning point in our relationship – she found out that she shares an interest with her brother after all, and has trusted me more ever since. Her overall state is still far from perfect, but it is her to whom I dedicate this entry.

Ireland Confirms
Damien Leith - Beautiful
This song means so much to me as it is the first song me and my partner listened to when we both got together. When I met him, I didn't think I would be lucky to even get to talk to him and from then we did and met and now over 5 years later he still stays by me through everything. Every time I hear this song it brings me back to the day we cuddled and he asked me out and the day he made my first ever valentine's day card.

South Korean entry My pick isn't going to be as emotional as some of the other entries that have been submitted so far but it still means a lot for me. This song was the first K-Pop song I've really liked. Music has always been important for me and I've always enjoyed listening to music, mainly songs from the charts and radio. But a year and a half ago I started disliking the new western pop music so I wanted to find a new genre I might like. I tried different genres and then I watched an interview with Jamie-Lee Kriewitz, the German representative of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, in which she talked about K-Pop. It sounded interesting and I've always been interested in the Eastern Asian culture so I gave it a shot. And one of the first songs I found was "Color Me Rad" by d.holic. I listened to it and instantly fell in love with it That's pretty much it, now I'm addicted to K-Pop
(1:58+)
Some other songs I also considered sending (with short explenations):

Considering that i was invited, oh well. Indonesia confirms. I remember feeling depressed and near-suicidal the day after my dad died, i was feeling weak and all foods tastes like sand to me. I felt like the world fell apart because of it. I remember listening to this song,"Kenangan Terindah" which means "Beautiful Memories" in English, the song essentially mentioned how it is hard to let go of someone you know, because he/she etched beautiful memories into your heart that makes you want to cherish it forever. I learned that letting go is very hard, and it would be better if you moved on fast. Now i'm feeling better and i'm so blessed to have people caring for me. On an unrelated note, one of the band members is my maternal cousin. I will send the timeslot later.

Same, could you tag me when you begin next edition? I would have appreciated to be tagged but well... confirms. My choice is this song by Lynda Lemay:
Timeslot: 1:23
Like many songs by her, the emotional content is extremely strong. She said in an interview that her youngest daughter Ruby became old enough to be aware of how dangerous our world is (especially with the Islamists attacks - the song refers in particular to the attack on Charlie Hebdo in Paris). She is also experiencing the fact of being a mother with the ambivalence between protecting her children and helping them to grow and become more independent. So the song is for Ruby, who actually appears in the music video (that's her at 4:14). The topic of the song is already quite deep, Lynda Lemay's voice is naturally very emotional and the lyrics are also very beautiful. Lynda Lemay is one of the best French speaking authors but as you can't understand the lyrics, I'm going to show you how deep her writing is from a part of the song and its translation in English.
Translation: Don't get a cold... at your eyes (impossible to translate: she plays on words and mixes two different expressions: "attraper froid" (to get a cold) and "ne pas avoir froid aux yeux" (be brave), and there is a third meaning from the context: she tells her daughter she should not be afraid to watch her world) Keep your audacity Don't get faith in God (again, she plays on words "froid" is quite similar to "foi") If he threatens you (with the idea of non embracing a "religion" based on terror) Don't get a cold at your eyes My beautiful unruly child (again, there is a cultural reference that is impossible to translate: the title of the novel "Les Enfants Terribles" by Cocteau, which is about two siblings who isolate themselves from the external world - so there is the underlined idea of continuing to interact with the world, whatever it is) Take your courage With your both free hands (plays with words and the expression "prendre son courage à deux mains", which means "taking a courageous decision")
I don't want you to get skinner... from the heart Following diets... of fear (this time the translation in English works, but in French, there is also an analogy between "maigrisses" and "aigrisses" (become eager)) I have no right, sweetie, To smolder you like a coward (the "coward" here is Lynda, not Ruby), To crush your humour, To shake your courage, I don't want you to cut the corners of your sarcasms (she plays with words again: the expression "tourner les coins ronds" is from Québec, it means "faire les choses à moitié" in standard French and "cut the corners" in English but there is also a reference to another expression: "tourner en rond" which means "wandering with no goal", and finally the sentence may be interpreted litterally: "tourner les coins ronds des sarcasmes" would mean "make the sarcasms smoother") Because religions don't have any sense of humour ("farce" has a more general meaning in Québec than in France, where it's mainly a prank) Your digits will get frozen if you let them sleep Far from the wooden pencils, far from the wax pencils (reference to the candles used in churches or during funerals after a dramatic event, and opposition between "frozen" and the flame of the candles) Your lips will get cold if you put a scarf on them (the word "foulard" may refer, in French, to an ordinary scarf or to a Muslim one, and the second meaning is used there, and also the idea of the lips sealed - the "scarf" becomes a gag) Don't be afraid of getting a cold, don't be aware (the word "crève" has a double meaning: it may refer to a bad flu or to the death) Go and play where you want, my beautiful fragile child Even if outside a tragic rain is falling down (reference to bullets or bombs) The more slicy the ground is, the more you have to slide, The more the world terrifying is, the more you have to draw it
