During the broadcaster conference in Georgetown, Guyana Broadcasting Corporation had presented about Guyanese participation’s in Own Americavision Song Contest, the upcoming Guyanese participation in El Salvador... and finally, reveal about their next representative...
> It’s Sabiyha for Guyana! <
Sabiyha Rasheed is an Indo-Guyanese descent who currently base in London. As a developing artist she’s already been marked by many as someone with a bright future. On her debut single, ‘Bird’, she shows exactly why. Strong songwriting and an astonishing voice already set her up as more than just another new act. Referencing her Indo-Caribbean descent, she explains that ‘Bird’ tells a story of being “torn between my heritage and trying to assimilate into a world where I didn’t truly fit in”. She brings in some southern Indian musical influences to act as “a moment to reflect my history, pride and the power I feel being a person of colour”. At this moment, she was internally selected to fly the Guyanese flag for us with the song called... “Wolf” Sabiyha is going to perform her song "Wolf" as our sixth entry in the contest history in El Salvador.Guyana Broadcasting Corporation

Let's "Go" to San Salvador! Telecorporación Salvadoreña is ready to announce the sixth Salvadoran entry for the Own Americavision Song Contest. After Sabi's victory with "Wild Heart" in George Town, the contest will be held for the first time in El Salvador (and in Central America as well). This edition's host entry will be sung by Denyse Tontz. Born in San Diego from a Salvadoran mother and an American father, she is best known for her acting career, being part of series like Big Time Rush, The Fosters or Incorporated. Nevertheless, she is a singer and songwriter as well. One of her songs, "Go", talks about people that move to Los Angeles trying to become famous as fast as possible and effortlessly, and it has also been chosen to represent the country in San Salvador. Best of luck, Denyse! Timeslot: 2:31+
