I actually don't have a preference in this case. On the one hand we've always had the 4 nations here (at least I feel like we had Wales and England in most editions, while Scotland and Northern Ireland less often, but I don't have numbers so correct me if I'm wrong), so it's kind of like a tradition and a speciality of this contest. Then again in the main Eurovision and most contests we have the UK as a whole, so it would make sense too. Anyway, either keeping it as it is or changing it won't have a big impact on this contest, so I'm fine with both ways  |

I say unify but allow Northern Irish singers to be sent for either  or  as happens often in Eurovision Just for the record, in case the unification wins this wouldn't be happening. Basing myself on the current political status of the UK and the premises of various inernational organizations where both Ireland and UK take part,  Northern Ireland is still one of the four nations of the UK and thus any singer from there has to be represented only by the UK. If the political situation changes in the future (same case for  Scotland which was mentioned too), then I'd adjust the rules accordingly. So granting that specific exception to ''privilege'' that specific nation would be rather odd in my opinion. Although I highly appreciate your wish to contribute to the contest and for expressing your opinion  |

I'm happy either way. I went with unification but to get more people to join the contest and have more people compete for competition I wouldn't mind keeping them separate |

Well, in that case then they could indeed compete for either both nations, it'd depend of each artist. Double nationalities are allowed in FoM so that those who have them can participate for either country |
