BERMUDA SAYS HOLA TO PUERTO RICO!
Hamilton, 23 September 2020 - After the fabulous eighth place achieved by Noise Cans and Doktor last edition in Los Angeles, marking Bermuda's best place to date in OAmSC, we are happy to announce that we will definitely be present in the tenth edition of the prestigious event to be held in Puerto Rico.
The Bermudian head of delegation Victor Outerbridge has stated that due to our small island achieving a top place last edition, tons of Bermudian artists have gained interest for participating in the contest. The drastic increase of interest from local and foreign artists has been positively overwhelming for the Bermudian delegation.
With that said, the delegation has yet to review the entry applications for approval. We hope to find the perfect entry soon enough.

Saint Lucia confirms Artist ~ Castries - 24 September 2020 ~ After a disapointing result from Teddyson John last edition with his soca smash hit Allez, the head of delegation Iseul Winters revealed that the team has found the next act to represent the Caribbean nation in Puerto Rico.
(L/R) Tylor Ryie Auguste & Jean Atem Farah, the two halves of the Lucian Act Lu City
Born and bred on the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Lucia, the 'Cari-Pop' duo grew up very differently, from opposite walks of life, each with their own extremely diverse cultural and Ethnic backgrounds. Music brought them together and they began their process of creation as an inseparable duo in 2012 – at which point they were but a mere 15/16 years old. LUJA (real name Jean Atem Farah) pronounced je t'aime, got his name from his Haitian father. Named after a French phrase which literally translates to ‘I love you’, this talented young man was writing poetry in primary school. Poetry which even ended up winning various local competitions at the time. Ryie (real name Tylor Ryie Auguste) was given the nickname ‘Rayvon’ by his grandmother as a child due to the fact that he began singing from the age of 6 years old, often performing at family gatherings and weddings. He became known at school as the young boy with the voice of an angel. These prolific young artists have been releasing what has been regarded by listeners as ‘hits with mainstream potential’ over the past five years. They have grown as artists, cultivating, experimenting and perfecting their captivating and unique sound. They have also recently been ramping up appearances and performances locally and regionally; opening for international artists such as Popcaan, Kalash and French Montana. Lu City recently competed and came out victorious at the Caribben-wide Machel Music Academy; a grueling 3 day Academy hosted at Gee Jam Studios in Jamaica which saw nine (9) hopefuls selected from hundreds of entries across the Caribbean. The finalists were tasked with writing, producing and recording new tracks each day under the mentorship of Machel Montano alongside industry professionals such as Grammy Nominated Singer/Songwriter Shontelle Layne and Roc Nation Producer, Deputy. Coming out of the Digicel sponsored Machel Montano Music Academy, Lu City was able to perform alongside Machel Montano himself, live at the 2018 staging of Machel Monday in Trinidad and Tobago.
The song which they will sing has been determined and will be revealed at a later date. However, we can reveal that the song will be the first time which Kwéyòl, the native Lucian creole language, will be sung at the Own Americavision Song Contest.
Stay tuned for more information. Daher Broadcasting System
