TENNESSEE The elimination in semi-final was extremely surprising during the first edition of the contest but that was far from the feeling we had when we discovered that the final was also denied to imy2 last edition. After a massive online petition entitled #JusticeForimy2 the least that we could do was to give them a new chance. So imy2 is going to represent Tennessee AGAIN, this time with Bubblegum.Timeslot: 1:30

Michigan Confirms Following a heartbreaking result last edition, in which Yasuda Rei won the semi-final, but missed out on an automatic qualification to Rhode Island by 2 points in the final, with the second place in the semi, Alabama, winning the edition, the Michigan Association of Broadcasters decided to reach out to a number of pop icons from the Great Lakes State. One of the highest up on the list agreed, and she'll be representing the two penninsulas down south. She is:
Born and raised in Detroit, Jax Anderson was the frontwoman of the duo Flint Eastwood, with her brother Seth as the other member. Anderson began singing professionally in 2010, with Flint Eastwood being formed in 2012. After 2 album releases, Jax and Seth split, with Jax taking Flint Eastwood as her solo project. Around the time she came out as gay, she decided to rebrand herself, shedding the Flint Eastwood moniker, as well as her signature long red hair and wide brimmed hat. Jax is no stranger to forum contests, with her placing 3rd in the 2018 edition of the United States of Song, as well as an 8th place finish at the 9th edition of the Fantasia Contest, where she won the second semi final, both with the song "Queen". She has agreed to having another edition of The Songs of Michigan, where 5 of her songs will compete to represent Michigan. A number of other Michiganders will also be present, and she's ready to rock your socks off.

MISSISSIPPI REVEALED OUR 3RD ENTRY
Jackson, March 9, 2021 - After the state finished on a reasonable 16th place last edition, it was announced by the Mississippian broadcaster, Mississippi Public Broadcaster, that Mississippi will be present on the stage of Own USAvision Song Contest in Alabama!
Around 30 songs were submitted to the broadcaster this edition and now, we have found our next entry.
America please welcome, the next hopeful Mississippian representative....
It's Caroline Romano for Mississippi! 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Hattiesburg, Caroline Anne Romano, will represent Mississippi in OUSC 2 that will be held in Alabama.
At just 18, pop singer/songwriter Caroline Romano is already on her way to stardom. Named “music’s next big thing” by AOL , her magnetic single “Ready” earned a Top 3 spot on Radio Disney’s Top 30 Chart. After the release of original "Masterpiece," featuring pop sensation Jacob Whitesides, the Mississippi native was credited by Popmania with releasing "the best music video of 2017." Caroline has performed on nationally televised network shows and shared the stage with an impressive resume of artists, including Daya, Shawn Mendes, Why Don’t We, Kelsea Ballerini and Whitesides. Romano’s cover of “Thumbs,” originally performed by Sabrina Carpenter, was featured in Glamour , and she was tapped as “on her way to stardom” by Medium . An anti-bullying advocate, Romano has partnered with the PACER organization to address the effects of bullying in the digital age. A unique and passionate force in the music world, Romano is a breath of fresh air who is forging a path of her own in the industry.
