Cocos (Keeling) Islands has decided on their song, should the standby nation be accepted into the contest!
Valesmere is an alternative musician from West Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands whose songs are mostly named in chaotic, coded ways. Some look like high-security passwords, while the song that we intend to send looks like a mathematical equation.

Tajikistan has chosen their entry! Тоҷикистон суруди худро интихоб мекунад!
It's been quite interesting these last few weeks at the headquarters of Televizioni Tojikiston in Dushanbe. Firstly, there was a possibility that the head of delegation could be moving to another country, which caused panic among the delegation since despite interest dropping in recent editions, the contest is very popular in Tajikistan, especially under the current head of delegation who gave the country their first victory in the contest in #28, and a song that has become legendary among fans of the contest, Ruz nadidam.
However the HoD subsequently stayed on as his plans did not materialize and has vowed to keep Tajikistan in the contest under his delegation.
An entry was chosen recently. 2 returnees were in the running to represent the mountainous nation in Jordan. However, only one could get to represent Tajikistan.
With that, we can happily announce that we have chosen our beloved Zakiya to represent us in Jordan! This is not the first time that Zakiya takes part in the contest. She represented the host nation in Dushanbe with her song, Ma'lum nest, although fans may know it as She shows her... and managed to place 20th. This time, she'll be singing a cover of an Indian song, Khatouba, which she released as a single in December 2022, as per the rules. This is the first time that a Tajik entry is not sung in Tajik or Russian, as it will be sung in Hindi.
T/S: TBD
We wish the best of luck to Zakiya on her big return to the OASC stage in Jordan! (And thank you to Fat Nepal for bringing this to my attention : bebe : )
Take a listen to it on Spotify!

AUSTRALIAN CHANGES ENTRY Sydney, 16 February 2023 🚨 ÚLTIMA HORA 🚨Exactly one week after announcing Thandi Phoenix as the country's representative in the 31st edition with the song "Cleopatra", the broadcaster received some emails from anonymous sources, complaining about the choice. According to the messages received, the most common ones were about Australia potentially ending last in the final or even receiving 0 points.
Immediately after reading all the complaints, the head of delegation held an impromptu meeting at the SBS headquarters where Thandi was invited too, and discussed in regards with the entry.

As the complains were about the song, rather than the artist, the parties came to an agreement to submit another song for the competition. Thus, Thandi suggested that she will perform another song from her discography. Moreover, the head of delegation also announced that they will track the IPs of the senders and, if needed, will investigate this situation further. But for now, here's the new song that will perform in the upcoming edition. You can listen to it below:

So I really want to use this music video for recap, but I don't want all the slashing noises, so if it could be possible for you guys to put another audio of the song over this music video that would be awesome, if not that's ok, you can just use this lyric video with the TS being 2:53+: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Egyr4PLf6-g
