Võ Hạ Trâm Võ Hạ Trâm in her music video for "Về với em"
Võ Hạ Trâm is a Vietnamese singer born in the Southern Vietnamese province of Hồ Chí Minh. She might not be that new face for Vietnamese audiences as she already won the local TV Singing Star contest back then in 2007 when she was just 17 years old, with the highest number of votes from the audience in the final round of the rankings. She entered the Conservatory of Ho Chi Minh City when she was just old enough (16 years old) so that she could gain very valuable musical knowledge and has become a real musical artist until now. After suffering in love, Vo Ha Tram found happiness with a successful businessman Vikas Chaudhary from India living and working in a famous gemstone company based in Hồ Chí Minh City.
“I am very proud that I could authentically represent my darling's hometown and make people of my country proud at the same time. It's as if I killed two birds with one stone and guess I just did it. Thank you so much for the third place and congratulations to all selected entrants. Can't wait to see you all on Own Asiavision stage somewhere in Vietnam again."
On 15 September, she was announced as the winner of the Vietnamese quota. Therefore, she will be granted a rightful opportunity to represent Vietnam in the Own Asiavision stage in her homeland with the song ...
“Về với em” (मेरे पास आओ) Vietnam in Own Asiavision Song Contest 32
Timeslot: will be provided to the OABU later『 Composed by Duy Tran and written by Vikas Chaudhary 』
After a long period of silence, recently on the afternoon of April 12, 2023, she returned to the music race when she released the music video for her Own Asiavision song Về với em - a song combining Vietnamese and Indian cultures. In particular, this was also the "beginning" for the project The Love Journey including 3 songs released in 2023. Võ Hạ Trâm revealed that in order to sing in Hindi, she had to practice intensively under her husband's supervision. With this project, Vo Ha Tram wants to connect with international audiences, especially India. In addition, she also hopes that her mother-in-law will understand her efforts in learning Hindi.
"I want my mother-in-law to understand what I'm singing about. My mother doesn't speak English, and I did not know how to speak Hindi back then either, so when we meet, we just smiled and said hello. Thanks to her husband's support, I learned more Hindi and can communicate quite well in Hindi right now. However, the first time I sang it to my mother, she still didn't catch anything. But today, she said she perfectly understand it so there is always room for everyone, I guess. ( laugh )"
The music video is also taken in and dedicated to the northwestern Indian state of Rajasthan, where her lover was originated from. Several attractions of the region could be spotted in the music video including Chittaurgarh Fort, Gadisar lake, Patwon ki Haveli and Thar desert. According to her husband Vikas, their intentions were to present culture and enchantment of Rajasthan state, which many people may not acknowledge about. The whole process was supervised by Vikas himself, as well as his family to ensure that every element included are authentic and properly represented their homeland.
Về với em crowned as the third placing song of the second ASEAN Song Festival with the amout of 53 points, beating her competitor Mỹ Tâm by just 4 points and therefore, winning the Vietnamese quota. This will be the first time for Vietnam to perform in Hindi and the second time to send an entry including lyrics not in neither Vietnamese nor English. In the name of the organizers, we would like to thank the juries from Australian, Niuean, Nauru, Solomon Islander and Syrian delegations for kindly joining our international jury panel. We also would like to congratulate all selected representatives and especially, the eventual winner of the festival.
Best of luck to all participants and to our new queen, Võ Hạ Trâm! Vietnam Television • VTV Official representative Vietnamese broadcaster in Own Asiavision Song Contest

IRAQI ENTRY
After 3 finals in 12 editions, the Iraqi broadcaster decided to change their path and sign with another Head of Delegation, José.
This time we'll probably have to face Quarterfinals but we'll do it with our heads held high.
The first representative from the new direction is coming all the way from Israel, please welcome:
Magi
MAGI Is a Singer-songwriter based in Tel-Aviv. She is the daughter of Yemeni and Iraqi immigrants. With this mix of cultures, her music is a fusion of Hip Hop beats, percussions and traditional Arabic instruments that define the new sound and grooves of the wild West.
Born and bred in the Yemenite ghetto of south Tel Aviv, MAGI’s first sonic encounters included 2000 year-old Yemeni prayers and contemporary Iraqi music that was played in her grandmother’s house since childhood.
Once old enough to slip into dance clubs, she fell in love with the local underground EDM scene, adding synths and samplers to the soundtrack of her youth.
Her distinct flow and vocal trademark, genuine musical eagerness and charisma has touched the hearts of people from all around the globe. Audiences as diverse as Iraq and Germany, Yemen and France, Switzerland and Egypt, once again proves that music is the language of love that brings people together.

Kode PinK is a dance pop DJ/Producer duo made up of members Kenan Nadar and Calvin Htet. Kenan, a Central Florida native, and Calvin, a NorCal native, are quite the unconventional music duo. By day, Kenan is a pediatrician and Calvin is an IT specialist. Their passion for music prevails in spite of their busy schedules. Kode PinK brings a new energy to the dance music scene by creating a beautiful hybridization between the lighthearted and fun aspects of pop music mixed with the power and punch that electronic music never fails to deliver. The two have adopted the mantra “no dream too big,” to inspire fans to believe that anyone can succeed in their passions no matter how non-traditional their background may be.
Megan Lee is a Korean-American actress and singer-songwriter who is most recently known as the lead actress playing Sun Hi on hit Nickelodeon TV show Make It Pop. She's been acting since 10 years old and launched her music career on Youtube at 14. Megan is also known for her music released in Korea like 8dayz and Ready For Love. She now continues her music career in the states with songs like Stronger, musical collabs with Timothy delaghetto, Andrew Garcia and recently released single under Spinnin Records Young and Broken. "I just wanna sing, heal me" “Sing” is a collaboration project between Kode PinK and Megan Lee. According to the duo, the song is Lee’s final song as a singer, as she closes the door on her singing career. Kode PinK had initially composed and produced the song when Lee had heard it. She enjoyed it so much, that she wanted to write something for it. The duo, who consider Lee to be like a little sister, willingly obliged, and the project, which took one year, finally came to fruition.

Laos reveals next entry! After a non-qualification last edition under a new delegation with Reeriew, Laotian broadcaster LNTV was invited again to take part in the second edition of the ASEAN Song Festival, which was held this time in Vietnam. 4 entries were selected by our broadcaster to compete for the right to represent our country also in neighbouring country Vietnam, however though only one qualified for the final, therefore becoming the next Laotian representative for the upcoming edition of the Own Asiavision Song Contest, which is revealed below.
She is back for revenge...
Thérèse Sayarath is a French-Chinese singer of Lao-Viet origin that was born in Ivry-sur-Seine to a flaglaotian Laotian family. She is a musician, stylist, model and activist. Considered a rainbow woman, she deploys between rain and good weather. Colorful and insatiable, nuanced and limitless. Like her career, her music is free, committed, mixed, popular and demanding. She is absolutely no stranger to the contest, as she also represented in the jubilee 30th edition in Kyrgyzstan, finishing 15th place in the first semi-final with 46 points, failing to qualify for the grand final.
She will represent Laos in Vietnam with her song "No Rules"!Our entry, "No Rules" was released on 5 April 2023 and it was composed by Adam Carpels and Thérèse herself and mixed by Alexandre Zuliani and masterized by Benjamin Joubert, the song mixes jersey club, pop and hip-hop in which we can find various traditional instruments. With straightforward lyrics, with a fierce and absurd vibe, “No Rules” is a jubilant ode to freedom, to our wholeness, to our complexity since it is impossible to put the human being in a box, to essentialize it. In the age of digital raids and cancel culture, Thérèse invites us in this song to embrace and cherish our differences, our inconsistencies, our contradictions. To better experience those of others. With the others. It is like a cocktail that is both hot and cold, colorful and sweet with a necessary zest of acidity.
She was taking part in the first semi-final of the ASEAN Song Festival and won with 102 points, also being the only Laotian song to have qualified to the final, but also won the second edition of the ASEAN Song Festival with an amount of 90 points, 8 points over the runner-up, receiving 12 points from the international juries of Malaysia, Niue and Vietnam.

AUSTRALIA HAS SELECTED The 9th edition of Australian Super Star has ended and after 2 voting rounds the winner was finally found. We would like to thank all the delegations that took their time and voted in the selection.
ELIOTT WINS THE SUPER FINAL!
Charlotte Gemmill, better known as Eliott, sings with the soul of Adele and the pop appeal of Lorde. Born in regional Victoria and now living in Melbourne, the 25-year-old musician has always had songwriting and lyricism at the forefront of her sound. She sang from childhood, inspired by her mother’s encouragement and a love for Missy Higgins. On long car rides, young Gemmill would harmonize with albums by the latter, honing her vocal skills along the way. By the time she was a teenager, she picked up a guitar and began performing at local pubs. Later, while enrolled at the Australian Institute of Music, she made the decision to leave school to pursue music full-time. She chose the mononym Eliott — an anagram of her nickname, Lottie — and set up shop in Melbourne.
She competed in the selection with her song "Only 25", a song about "...breaking, hurting, healing, growing. An emotional cycle from being broken (only 25) through healing to ultimate growth". She won the super-final with 57.14%, being just 2 votes ahead of the runner-up.
