Hello and welcome to 
Maastricht, The Netherlands for the introduction of a new song contest: MondoVision Song Contest! Travelling across the globe, to seek out new music, and to go where the internet hasn't gone before.
We start off with answering the rules by a number of questions:
1) What should the voting system be like? Regular ESC style 12 to 1 points, with a jury.
2) Worldwide or restricted to some continents? Each broadcaster applicates to be a member of L'Association Mondiale de Radio et Télédiffusion, based in
Brussels, Belgium. Every country is reviewed, also not recognized territories, for participation possibilities.
You have to be a member in order to participate.
3) Rules for the songs? None other than the following.
4) ESC/JESC Songs? No, they are not allowed.
5) Overused songs banned? (They will be reviewed, possibly banned.
6) Design or Video shown? Video, because all video's must be from the Official Video or a Live Performance. (Moving images.

7) Random Draw or Draw chosen by the host? I'll try to assemble and put in the songs in the order I think they have the best chances in.
8) Keeping countries for multiple editions? Yes, yu can, only the USA and UK are an exception.
9) Artists can be attracted from any other allowed ART member country.

Features of the contest:
- Tours by the artists, gaining publicity.
- A Daily Blog of what is being done.
- After each edition a top, and an award show.
- Prior to the contest, as entries come in, we will show them in a topic, where all entries will be presented.
- There will be a voting show after results have been counted.
- A jury will also judge the songs, and will tally towards the televoting results.
- Entries can only be send in with the following:
- The artist, the song, a 20 second timeslot and the video link.
- A Network Broadcaster, which will get its’ own thread (If featured on a board/sub-board, later on.)

Now the system:
Your points will be divided by 7, and then scaled to a round number (.5+ = 8, 0.499999 = 7)
For each submission you get an additional point.
For a national final, you will get two points.
Those points will be added to eachother.
After every 5 editions, we check the points gained, and divide them by 100. (10 = 0,10) and that is an amount of money you will have, and are able to spend in a shop later set up.
So show me some respect, and send in some good, clean, and not any weird celeb singer parodies, you bitches!
