What I DONT like is the trend that more and more countries send songs in English. Especially after performing them in their native language in the NS (Albania I mean you!) The critics who say that the songs all sound the same. People who complain about juries/televoting What I LIKE is mostly the music, but also joke entries are funny (if they are not to much) And I like he spirit of the contest. I don't take much issue into people singing in English - but what really annoys me is when they send people who can't speak English fluently and don't understand what they're saying (I'm looking at you, One Last Bread)

- Hypocritical gay fans - LGBT people can boo Russia all they want during and after their performance but as soon as a singer says something bad about the gays it's as if they murdered someone. And yes, I am in support of LGBTs if you're thinking in homophobic Pretty sure the booing is mostly because of Crimea - the booing for Russia didn't really start until 2014 (except in 2010, but that was only because a lot of people hated their song) Overtly annoying spokespersons or those who go on forever trying to claim their 15 minutes of fame. You're there to present votes, that's it. Just say them and nothing else. I couldn't agree more with that. In fact - I'd wish they'd just go back to using audio-only voting. Tbh - that method generated a lot more laughs.

Everything has been said already so far. The only things I agree with are that the spokespeople are sometimes very annoying. Additionally I also don't understand why they have to announcing the winner before the voting has finished and change the tradition to open the first semi now with the previous winner song and not the final anymore. And I don't kno exactly who said that, but I'm personally happy there isn't an orchestra anymore. I....can't exactly say I disagree... We don't want a repeat of the Epic Sax Guy's flagreece Greek granddad -

tbh, I love ESC with all my heart, but I still think that the worst about ESC is the community Don't get me wrong here, none of you are terrible ESC fans, but I still think that the majority of the esc community is really toxic. Bashing others opinions, complaining about whenever a country is or isn't in the competition, complaining about the language, comming up with dumb excuses to why a song is failing or will fail, all the fights with different nationalities, calling (LITERALLY) every song in selection a plagiat, comming up with excuses about corruption or politics involving something esc based. Those are just many reasons to why you can barely communicate with the community

Those are just many reasons to why you can barely communicate with the community I'm sure it's just a vocal minority - otherwise the majority of people on these forums would be like that. Still - I agree. I used to spend hours arguing with those people on YouTube - heck, at one point I was one of those people - but I eventually stopped because it just felt...sad. Some of them were really stupid though - I once read a comment stating "Europe = Gayrope. Hetero is out" , and another one complained that Bulgaria couldn't do well because [long winded paragraph of Bulgaria's history with other countries]

For me:
Eurovision LIKES:
- The Songs. Especially those diamonds in the rough that one would NEVER get in the music charts. - Introducing new talent without the Fix Factor Drama. - Being introduced to artists outside the country. - A break from reality. - Talking to great people that also adore Eurovision. - The Eurovision Men. - Contests here wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Eurovision. - Sounds cliche but I like whole aspect of unity behind it. - We don't get one but TWO semi finals!! I adore how we don't get one day but a whole WEEK of Eurovision!! Like a second birthday amongst us!! ^^
Eurovision DISLIKES:
- The Politics of course!! I could do a whole list here but I won't. Everyone knows anyway. - The Patriotic In Denials - People who get overly defensive and even get argumentative over a SONG (Spanish YT Brigade) - Similar to the above, those so-called 'fans' that don't respect other opinions and choices. - UK's carelessness over Eurovision. BBC and people's attitude just sucks (except for the UK Eurovision fans of course). - I know fans won't agree with me but personally, I cannot STAND the filmed rehearsals before semi finals!! ... I never watch them because I like the element of surprise and it's a tad annoying when people drop hints out. That's what I think anyway.
Bit late now but I'm sure there are others. But one thing we can all agree that EUROVISION = AWESOME!!

I think the Big 5 is stupid, if the song is good, it wins, to be automatically qualified is not a benefit.

I do not like the Voting System since last year. I get it, that it works out nice in Melodifestivalen but I think eversince the seperate Jury/Televoting system was introduced, it only caused controvesial discussions and made the neighbour-voting more extreme than before. Also for me the old voting System was an experience I grew up with. My first ESC memory is sitting togheter with my Family in our Livingroom and being all exited about, who will get the 8,10 and 12 points now and so on. Now it is just as an example Norway: Speech. And our 12 points go to Sweden. Next. I hope EBU will see this theirselfes but I really doubt it

I like Eurovision because of its diversity but sometimes I'm not really a fan of sympathy voting.
