Let's get to know the four musicians in Heat 2. All these musicians were in the Eurovision Song Contest for Bulgaria!
First, we have
Mariana Popova
Mariana Popova was born in Sofia Bulgaria in 1978. She has been studying music since the age of 11. She believes in following one's dreams and also in reincarnation. One of her dreams is to have a dinner with singe Marc Anthony. In 2006, she got the honor of representing Bulgaria in the Eurovision song Contest with her song "Let me Cry". Sadly, it failed to qualify for the final. Besides Eurovision, she is also a trainer on the Voice Bulgaria. Mariana also hosted Megazvezda Bulgariya 1 for NVSC 7. Ladies and Gentlemen, MARIANA POPOVA!!!!!!!!
Next, we have Deep Zone Project
Deep Zone project was formed in the year 2000 by three musicians. Dian Savov, Lyobomir Savov Mikhailov (Dian's father) and Rosen Stoev. Rosen Stoev is not a member anymore being replaced by Alex Kiprov and they added Nadia Petrova as vocals. In 2008, one of their songs, DJ take me away, won the right to represent Bulgaria in ESC 2008 in
Belgrade. The song was a huge hit in Europe but they failed to qualify placing 12th in the Semi Final. Now, they continue to produce top-notch music. Ladies and Gentlemen, DEEP ZONE PROJECT!!!!!!!
Finally, we have Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan
Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan are a music duo. In 2007, the won the Bulgarian national selection and got the opportunity to represent Bulgaria in ESC 2007 in Helsinki Finland. In Finland, they did something that no Bulgarian musician ever done, they qualified for the final. In the final, they achieved a very impressive place being 5th place. The best result ever for Bulgaria. In 2013, BNT asked them to represent Bulgaria again. They agreed and in Malmo, they tried to repeat their past result but were not successful. They placed 12th in Semi Final 2 with their song "Samo Shampioni" (only champions). Ladies and Gentlemen, ELITSA TODOROVA AND STOYAN!!!!!!!
