Many new rules were introduced after the 10th edition:
You can now submit two entries!
Each user now submits two songs, with one song competing in each of the two semi-finals
Only up to 25 users
There is a limit of 25 users competing, meaning up to 25 songs competing in each semi-final
Don't leave me behind!
There also cannot be less than 11 users competing, or the voting procedure would not work
If there are less than 15 users competing in an edition, there will be no SF and instead 15 songs in the final, with only 1 song per user.
Gone all Eurovisiony!
Ten countries will qualify for the final - only if there are more than 15 countries in each semi-final
Vote!
Voting will not stop until every user competing has voted, as countries that have not given their points have a modicum better chance of obtaining a higher place
Update:
The United Kingdom will be split up into England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. The singers must be related to those countries though.
Eurovision songs are allowed!
Puerto Rico is not allowed in GSC anymore because it is not a country.

All are really great rules except this one If there are less than 15 users competing in an edition, there will be no SF and instead 30 songs in final. I mean 30 songs competing in a final seems so damn many

Good rules. Perhaps the rule of allowing ESC songs too may seem unfair for other countries outside the Eurovision world?

I disagree because not many people will enter Eurovision songs, anyway. And I don't think many of the experienced users will vote for Eurovision songs either.
If experienced users like you (Chistian and Dimitris) won't vote for ESC songs, than not many people will.

I just don't see a chemical sense of using ESC songs into a contest, which rather has the point to send songs outside the popularity from Eurovision...
Otherwise just go for 1 edition with this rule and see how the impact will be from other users reactions.

I will try it for one edition none-the-less, I really don't see the difference between ESC songs and any other song in the world.
I might have a limit of ESC songs in each edition though.
