RUV is again very happy about the viewing figures of the First Semifinal, even though the televoting lines were closed and Iceland didn't compete this evening.
The results were quickly spread around the Icelandic websites, polls and social networks and by tomorrow new songs are expected to enter the charts. It's about the 10 qualified songs that will all enter the top 40 charts of RUV Radio. Among these, 
"Sirens" by Cher Lloyd, 
"Hit That Drum" by Sidney Eggleston and 
"Aeroplan" by Arilena will peak at the top 5 in the position 1, 3 and 4 respectively, letting the 
Icelandic entry itself, "Because You Can" by Hera Björk at position 5. Yet, the self entry rules the top of the charts since 6 weeks.
Songs like
"Nothing Better", 
"Trails of Trouble", 
"Für Elise" 
"Close To You", 
"Peremirie", 
"Feathers" and 
"Set Your Heart On Me" are placed somewhere within the top 40 of this week as well.
