Why should I feel offended? I've got a good friendship with Adrià (probably because we're close with our nations in this contest ) and we've a kind of main PM where we're discussing our entries before publishing them publicly (we don't want to send the same artists in the same edition and eventually with the same song ) and we've also agreed about staying with our own nations since Adrià feels more connected to Andorra and I prefer to stay with Spain. We both would've said "no" if you would've suggested us to switch from countries. Suggested?? I laughed at that. I would have forced it. At that time we had a waiting list so if you withdrew nothing would have happened. I loved being a dictator but, I agree with Daniel. I will stop this discussion. P.S. I actually liked the Spanish song for NVSC 9 which is a first. If you would've forced us to switch the waiting list would have stayed on the same number of users. When there came better hosts for the North Vision Song Contest we would've switched back our countries to the former format because as I already said, we both like our countries enough.

You people really need to understand that not everyone can cope with getting poor results all the time, everyone's personality is different. All people should be allowed to state their opinion (however critical) about the contest without being told to fuck off. Just learn to accept other people's opinions for christ's sake, even I've managed that by now.

Back to Semi-Final 2 results... Predicted 7/10 of the qualifiers Czech Republic, Slovenia, Estonia don't deserve to qualify in my opinion :/ Turkey finally in Switzerland FTW Finland Ireland underrated :/

How do they have an unfair advantage, you didn't explain I will love to explain.
First, they have a much bigger music industry and the genres popular in those countries are popular with NVSC members. Countries such as Bulgaria, Montenegro, Serbia and Croatia have a music genre that fails in song contests. The only time they do well is when they send pop songs and they may still fail Bulgaria NVSC 8.
Second, Denmark, Norway and Sweden's users have music charts which give their songs more exposure than other countries.
Finally, they are the most popular countries and the users have the best movie making programs. I think that they should have to switch countries every five editions but I know it won't happen because they are the NBU council. you need to add Latvia on that list of unpopular countries.... I mean the country fails even in ESC(no need to mention their song choices...but they aren't that bad actually) sadly I only qualified with ESC NS songs but once I send a non-esc related song I fail or even ending in bottom 5 while Latvia sent the most meaningful song in NVSC history with it's worst result(NVSC#5) as the song is about that the Latvian people are starting to get separated from each other and they need to be together and "fight against fen fires" ~fenfires are some kind of folk element of Latvia~ so this song has much more meaning than most of the songs that won or qualify the most of the times...

James got a true point behind it. It is truely not hard finding Moldovian songs, personally. But it is a true horror-thing finding songs that can qualify. (This is why I am often taking foreign acts.) Very true. Most Kazakh songs are ballads, some of which I personally like very much but wouldn't do well in NVSC. For example, I absolutely loved Naydi menya but it did not do well. I do find some catchy tunes sometimes which I then use That's the problem really, you can find artists/songs easily but finding good songs isn't that easy for countries like Kazakhstan, it's probably also because the Kazakh music industry is different than e.g. the Swedish music industry. Seems as Kazakhs prefer ballads, I assume If you told me to name a hundred Kazakh artists in a mere 30 minutes I could do it with ease. Help for those who can't find artists or songs: Start with Wikipedia, there are categories for many countries with artists in them. Then when you get to the pages, you can just look up that artist's songs. From there, YouTube will most likely start suggesting other songs from the countries, which will often lead you to channels of music labels or producers in the country from which you can find many, many, many, many songs. Another helpful tool is Last.fm, look for artists tagged under your country. Sometimes you may find artists no one listens to, that are surprisingly very very good. Hope this helped

Try doing a big national selection for Montenegro, Slovenia, Georgia, Lithuania, Belarus or Bulgaria then attack me. I researched music for all these countries in that past and it's hard plus some of us can't spend 60 dollars to buy the programs needed to make a big lavish selection. I have to select internally. I have to work to pay for my college so don't bash me for that. This proves that if anyone bashed the nordics they attack you, if you bash anything you get attacked. I wasn't aware the forums were like Belarus. Some countries like Hungary use Windows Movie Maker (or a close program, idk) to make their videos... they aren't as good as the FF ones, but they are still quite nice IMO Proud to use Movie Maker And btw... THANK YOU FOR QUALIFYING HUNGARYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
