Seriously, you should explain to me what is wrong about stating my opinion.
After these posts Rani threw words like "You all hate me", "You want me to leave"
etc at us. How would you react if you say to your friend that you don't like
his new hairstyle and he goes like "OMG YOU WANT ME TO DIE"? 
You would react the same way. You would tell him to stop, which I did.
It didn't happen like that for the first time and I actually stated my opinion again.
And because it didn't happen for the first time, I was angry because I have
to tell the same every single time. To you again now because you
don't want to get it

Again. There was normal reactions until Rani started throwing these lies
at us. And there is your problem again: Why aren't we allowed to tell our
opinion, even if it is negative? Does everyone you ask something answer
with "yes" to any question? Seriously?

Thank you. I don't know what problem you have with me but you should
just stop lying. I can express my opinion and emotions how I want.
And I obviously did it in a normal way until a point I got offended and
told lies for no reason at all. If you were against bullying you were on both
sides. Ahhh and don't try to say that because Rani is younger he deserves
more or less respect.
When you want to blame someone then search for someone else.

Sorry Tom, but Dan is totally right  I followed the whole discussion since it started, however I stayed silent because I didn't want to throw any dices yet. Rani clearly overreacted though he didn't receive any insults. A post that got my attention too is "IMF doesn't have any realism" which is the one you perhaps have found "offending" (?) but I'd like to point out that Realistic contest ≠ Good contest and since I don't follow IMF since a quite long time I can't express myself about this, but I'll just give an example about how TVC, OVSC, and other contests that used to run when I joined the forums were so enjoyed around here, despite having singers as Taylor Swift for The Netherlands or Demi Lovato for Ireland or others... Plus Dan was obvs joking over it. If you think it was meant in an offending way, you don't know Dan   NVSC is a realistic contest for the sake of having a more similar contest to ESC itself. You say he asked only for "IMF participants opinion" but basically Dan was too a former participant  Dennis also only reacted to Florian's overreaction which seemed legit, a comparison was made but sincerely I wouldn't feel offended because of that. It's all about point of views I'd say. First of all I want to mention that I've a lot of respect for your way of speaking to me/  Florian. If others would do it in the same way I would've never placed any reaction in this topic.  Florian overreacted sometimes, but that was after he got lots of unacceptable reactions from some others. In this case I understand his way of reacting. About singers like  Taylor Swift in new or old contests: in the  Imagine Song Contest Taylor Swift participated for  France once. No one even complained about that participation. And to be honest let's say I don't think it's pretty "OK" to react only on someone who got stressed by several reactions after trying to act in a human way. All in all, I totally agree on your last sentence and I'm actually 50/50 about the fact I started this discussion again since indeed... there are several points to view this case.  |
