Artist #22 Known to his fans by his real-name Kamaljit Singh Jhooti, Jay Sean is the THIRD artist in this edition's National Selection to be of Punjab-descent. Born in London, he studied in school until A-Levels, receiving an A and two Bs in maths, chemistry and biology. He originally started studying medicine at the Barts and London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary, University of London, but dropped out to pursue a career in music.
