Did it frighten you, how we kissed when we danced on the light up floor?

The voters spent so much money for him lmao pls you have like the cheapest voting costs in Europe Even if one votes 5/6 times, he would pay still less than the cost of a single vote here
Stop insulting him guys as long as you don't know the background and the personal reasons of his choice. I didn't like his song at all anyway, but hey, Ann Sophie (who was the best by far tonight) won the whole thing Good luck Germany

They chose Andreas, supported him by giving an amount of money and he just rejected the majority decision.

I think, Ann Sophie will also feel kinda bad now. She might be happy to represent us in Vienna, but it wasn't a real victory more like a gift

If anything, I honestly (by re-watching it) think he choked up on the situation, couldn't handle the fact that a country as large as Germany voted for his 2 songs to go to (in effect) the world's most-viewed music contest and so naturally he said "I'm sorry, I can't, I give it to the runner up".
He couldn't handle the sudden burden/pressure of an entire country on his shoulders.

The pressure wasn't "sudden" You know all that BEFORE you decide to take part I'm not talking about what is obviously known beforehand. I meant, the sudden expectation of him, it might have to been too much for him to process - winning a contest via a vote from the public to go to an archaic music contest with an audience of millions expected to achieve, whilst maintaing a schedule and press and photoshoots and promoting it etc ... Whatever his reason is, I'm pretty sure the media will get some word from him... somehow.
