 Sounds of Croatia #3
Good evening, Europe! Welcome to the announcement thread of the 3rd edition of Sounds of Croatia #3, which will choose the  Croatian act for North Vision Song Contest #13. After an edition's break due to selecting Antonija Sola internally, HRT is willing to stage another series of Sounds of Croatia #3.
First, let's meet the one host!
Neda Parmać
Neda is no stranger to the NVSC scene. Why, she even brought Croatia their best showing since #5, when the country came 19th there. She sang ''Dajte Da Se Probudim'' which ended 10th in North Vision Song Contest #10, the return of Croatia under the new HoD. Not to mention that she won the first edition of Sounds of Croatia, it was surely logical for her to host it. There's a huge chance that Neda will be back on the scene, one day, for NVSC!
Host City:
Split
Split is the second largest city of Croatia and is the largest in the region of Dalmatia. It's prominently a popular tourist destination, and is also a link to numerous Adriatic Islands and the Apennine Peninsula. Sounds of Croatia was never held in Split before, however if Croatia would win the contest one day the contest would either be held in Zagreb or Split, due to tourist attractions and also resources.
FORMAT
4 artists will be fighting to represent his/her country at the next edition. This is very different to the previous SoC's, but is likely to succeed. Each artist will sing 2 songs - you vote in a poll your favourite and that will go to a final. The winner of course is the song that is most voted for in the final. The artist announcements start tomorrow, 14th January 2015.

ARTIST ONE ANNOUNCEMENT
Today, the first artist was announced for the  Croatian national selection. This was rather a suggestion from a fellow North Vision Song Contest country, and so the first act is..
Žanamari & J'animals
Žanamari Lalić is a Croatian pop-rock/alternative-rock singer, who is also the lead singer of the band ''J'animals''. She is also noted for winning the first edition of Hrvatski Idol in 2004.
J'animals was founded by Žanamari in Zagreb, 2010, and are active ever since.

SECOND ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to internal problems earlier, HRT delayed the announcement until after midnight of the second artist in Sounds of Croatia #3. The second artist I'd say is ''known'' in Croatia; here she is..
Lidija Bačić
The 28 year old singer who hosted Sounds of Croatia #2 is officially announced as one of the contenders for Sounds of Croatia #3. Some suggest that Lidija was chosen as Split is her hometown, but HRT denies these and merely says it's a ''coincidence''. The singer also reported that in truth she was in negotiations with Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG to take part as a foreign act from Croatia. However since Montenegro withdrew from #12, these never came into happening.

THIRD ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT
There is two artists returning to Sounds of Croatia #3. One of which will be announced now. Hint; it's not so long ago she participated.
SEVERINA
It may be too early for her to return, but Severina is far from finished with North Vision Song Contest. With her new release only a month ago, ''Generale'', the singer is content on trying for Croatia again. You'll find out next week or so if ''Generale'' will be one of her songs.
In speaking with Severina, she stated that: ''NVSC was a big experience. I took part in Eurovision in 2006 but gained 12th place for Croatia. However on the participation in NVSC, I got Croatia's best result ever with 6th (or 5th *troll face*) and with music by me being published mostly, I see no reason to not comeback! Hrvatska!''
