I would say that I'm asexual, but also heterosexual, I'm attracted to girls but not sexually, no one knows because I don't know who I should tell, I know I will tell at some point, especially because I know of people who think I'm gay, so I'll have to correct them soon, just a question of who to tell. Start with friends, or at least people who you think will be understanding and accepting. It's definitely a weird situation to be in (I know from experience q:), but it's survivable. How do you think people will react?

Some I know won't understand so I'm saving them for last, others don't care I think, but I'm mostly afraid of if the first time coming out will be to someone who won't get it and might lose touch with me, one of my friends is a supporter of equality but I don't know if I should tell her since I've known her for a lesser time than other friends. I don't know who would accept it and understand, so I'm not sure, the best bet I think is the equality supporter, but I've read that even gay people have thought that Asexuality was weird and wrong, so I'm not sure if she would react how I hope she would...

Yeah, it's kinda scary. But posting on here, even if it's minor, is pretty significant, so you've got that going for you. For me, at least, it's easier to talk about things like this with people I don't really know all too well (the first person I came out to was someone I had known for a month lol), so maybe that friend is your best option, especially since you know she's accepting? And when I had to tell people I was asexual (or at least, asexual-leaning), some people didn't get it, both gay and straight. But for every person that doesn't understand, there'll be one or two who do, so don't worry too too much about that.

Even if my coming out wasn't that smooth, it did help me let go of a lot of problems I'd been having. If you're having any, hopefully it has the same effect for you. Good luck.

Well everybody already knew that I am gay but anyways. Last week I was at a festival and everybody that I talked to, didn't expect it It's so strange because when I was in highschool I didn't completely knew it myself and I was bullied because I "looked" and acted gay. But know that I am out of the closet for a few years, people don't expect it anymore. It can be because I feel more confident now that earlier. But some people are really shocked when they hear I am gay, because they don't expect it It was kinda funny. Also funny is that, I once had a girlfriend, that was the only girl I ever kissed. But this year, I kissed two of my Girlie friends, but it still doesn't do anything to me It so weird that you just can kiss a girl now, because they want to know how gay-men kiss. And at the festival I kissed my first straight-guy, so weird tho, that he just suddenly kissed me Okay there was some alcohol involved but still. It feels weird to kiss a guy that is not gay at all. So I don't know why I shared this, but I just did it. Oh and is it strange that I still can get along with my ex-boyfriend? We've been together for 2,5 years. Broke up, but can get along good. Not like first, but good. We have shared friends tho, so it is needed to get along It's almost a year ago now, I firstly thought I couldn't live without a relationship, and expected to have a new boyfriend soon after, but I am still single and really happy I am. But sometimes I really have the feeling that I need one and some moments I have not.
