Well that escalated quickly...... fabbi do you know why he was forbidden entrance to the contest? Just curious. Because of trying to enter with a 2nd fake account like 3 days after we accepted him for Lithuania and because of swearing in a similar way at Mimis

Finally someone who speaks his mind about this contest. It's just unfair, better to call it discrimination that if someone is waiting for 1,5 year (my case as this contest came to the forums in October 2013) and he wants to compete with his home country just a totally unknown user who never logs in here and sends so unoriginal entries can stay at this contest until the year 2115 no matter what will happen! The leading in this contest is unfair. I know the hosts will not take my reaction serious as they have enough participants but please try considering another system. A first come first serve system for example but still that only people can participate with the country they originate from.

No offense Tom, but I disagree highly with that..
Why would a contest which has had this system for 4 years suddenly have to change? Not to mention that the Dutch player I assume is in the contest longer than you on the forums, I think. Changing the system now is no use. It's the thing that separates WWWSC from other contests. If the entries are unoriginal, you don't know if this person is in more than 1 contest or just this one..
And there's reasons why this guy who cursed out WWWSC can't take part, and they are valid.

Gosh, it's probably a waste of time but somehow I feel like I should write something. NOBODY, literally nobody urges you to wait for a place in this contest! The Netherlands are taken since early 2012, so for around 3 years. Why should our Dutch player withdraw just because you cannot accept that? As Dylan said, this is our system and it works well and is appreciated by many people, so why should we change it just because you want us to do so? We have our rules and ideas (as every other contest) and we won't change them. Just because the Dutch player isn't active on the forum should be a reason to throw him out? And what does discrimination have to do with that? Apparently you're the only one here who's got a problem with our system, everyone else can accept it. There are so many other contests here, why don't you join and have fun there? Such unnecessary drama, I can't even... And supporting someone who insults other people and tries to cheat here doesn't make you more likeable either...

A first come first serve system for example but still that only people can participate with the country they originate from. I personally don't think he spoke his mind about our contest, he was simply offensive because he actually managed to lose his place in a very silly way before even entering here As for the fact you haven't been able to take part here yet, I don't think that if you had a contest with players who have been with you for a lot of time, who are really loyal and who hardly ever not vote or submit an entry in time, you would actually give their place to someone else. Our format and our rules are like that and they are obviously not going to change Apart from that, I don't get your comments about the Dutch player. He's indeed not active here but this doesn't mean anything to us, as long as we come in contact with him and it's someone we've known for years, even before we actually created our contest and yes, if he remains that punctual, he can surely stay as long as he wishes. Moreover, I don't think that your statement can be considered as valid, as joining the forum is not mandatory but just optional. Our player is really busy in real life and he doesn't have tim to be here...It isn't needed anyway though so no reason to discuss about it As for his entries, I don't know what you define as 'unoriginal' but I am pretty sure he is not the only one to send songs which have taken part in other contests before. Many players have called some songs here as 'unoriginal' and 'overused' but I hadn't listened to them before... Maybe it's just that they are taking part in many online contests so listening a song for the first time is a bit difficult for them Closing this topic, I want to thank you for stating your own opinion but I can assure it won't be taken into consideration as we have been running this contest with those rules for a long time now and we keep on growing. Our players seem to be satisfied so changing the rules wouldn't be a good idea if you ask me

There are loads of people in this contest who have never seen this forum. Plus he's doing well with "unoriginal" entries. Or why the hell would he be 2nd in the nation score?
