It seems to be a copy of ESC, because there are usually 26 countries in the final. I think 25 is the perfect number. Uh, that argument is invalid. The goal of NVSC is to come as close to the real ESC as possible. For a "copy" we'd need the host to qualify and 5 "set" countries (France, Germany, Spain, UK and Italy) Tell that to the PQR participants So you're basically saying that there are not more than 10 good songs in a SF?  Yeah, but it doesnt need to be a 1:1 copy. (Please no rule that  Greece has to give  Cyprus  )  I was only refering to the number of contestant in the final. ^^ I mean there is a reason that many song contests have 26 countries usually in the final. I mean you could just let one qualifier more qualify without a Big 6, it wont change much. One more or less country in the semi wouldnt hurt anybody. "Bad" was maybe not the right word, there are also the "meh" and "nice, but not more" songs in that category. But yeah, there were also semis, in which more than the half of the songs were not good imo, but not often ofc. ^^ But whatever it Big 6 or 5, it wont change much. ^^ |

I mean you could just let one qualifier more qualify without a Big 6, it wont change much. One more or less country in the semi wouldnt hurt anybody. Would be unrealistic (11 qualifiers sounds even stranger than a Big 6) |

Would be unrealistic (11 qualifiers sounds even stranger than a Big 6) I meant one more qualifier from the PQR. ^^ I would prefer only a "Big 1" and 12 qualifiers from the semi, but thats probably only me. |

I voted. I wanted to hold on to top 5, HOWEVER: I don't care what is selected - as the big 6 is a good enough idea. However I'm curious who'd be auto-qualified.. council maybe? I'm not sure at all tho |
