Did it frighten you, how we kissed when we danced on the light up floor?

Robin Paulsson, Sarah Dawn Finer (as Lynda Woodruff) and Måns Zelmerlöw would be a perfect trio

Lisa Angell and Nathalie André are just butthurt. They believed their song was good also it was an old-fashioned boring and screamy ballad. France withdrawing? Let me laugh! It made for the first time since ages 27% of the audiences part, being the first show watched this night, and for the first time since ages too! France wont withdraw for the good reason that the Eurovision saturday is the only day of the year that France 2 can expect to beat TF1. So don't be afraid. I couldn't stand that tweet from Anggun either, I mean each to their own in the end, but as she was an Eurovision contestant herself, she is kinda supposed to know that the final results aren't the only thing that matter... I mean just the Eurovision experience itself must be idk.. way more important for a singer..

As long as the HoDs won't understand that if we are always in the bottom five it's not because of "political" votings but because we can't send decent entries! So yes maybe she should withdraw as decidor, but in my very honnest opinion, as long as Eurovision will be a success with the audience, they have no reason to leave the contest. Who knows? Maybe one day we'll send something that fits to what people listen to. Frankly, only Allez Ola Olé was on radio and worked in the charts. And look how he finished! 8th in the televote!

I never got and still don't get the argument "political voting" tbh
The only reason you fail is because you send shit songs. Once you send a good song (+ good singer of course) you will do very well and have a very good chance on winning the contest. The best example is Latvia this year. Every year they sent some kind of lovely song and this year they took it serious.
You might ask "why do good songs still do bad then?". Well most probably because most of them are being forgotten. As we saw this year, the votes can concentrate on a certian amount of countries so if you get 11th in all countries' votings you might still get 0 points *coughs*

Some good songs in the past has always done bad, and people often bring ''political'' voting as an excuse. I showed a picture in the Eurovision General Discussion thread, which shows how I see people complaining about ''neighbour'' voting. Also, saying that Sweden won because of politcial reasons is just stupid. He got points from EVERY country, not only the nordics.

I know people who vote for the United Kingdom "for the craic" so...there's that Also, it can be due to diaspora. Ever wondered why Ireland and UK always voted for Poland and Lithuania and seldom get anything back?
