Norway has confirmed participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2012. Norway selected their participant in the 2012 edition of "Melodi Grand Prix". There were 24 artists competing in 3 semifinals with 8 in each semifinal. There was no "Sistesjansen" this year (Second chance round). On every thursday before the semi-finals and the final, a special program was shown. The semi-finals and the final were hosted by Per Sundnes and Marte Stokstad.

It's just because I think the Norwegian MGP is much better than the Danish one I thought the Danish songs were REALLY boring when I listened to them, while the Norwegian were quite enjojable, too
