Disability/illness: I have never really shared things about my personal life here, mainly because I'm shy and I don't want to look like I'm searching for sympathy

So here's my little story
I had an appendectomy on 27th August 2015. After that, I spent 5 days in intensive care because besides appendicitis, I also had peritonitis which is an inflammation of the stomach lining (if I'm not mistaken). Then I was put in a normal unit and I started getting high fevers (like 39-40 degrees). I spent a total of 22 days in the hospital. I was moved to another hospital which was an oncho-hematology. Obviously I was scared because the damn clinic had 'oncho' in its name I thought I had cancer or some shit. I got told I had aneamia and I bought it.. turns out it was actually leukemia and my parents chose to hide the diagnosis from me to save me from grief I guess. My chemotherapy lasted from October 2015 to February 2016. Fortunately, my case wasn't serious and it didn't requite any bone marrow transplantation. During that time I was abscend from the forums and that's why I got two strikes in FC lmao.. I completely forgot about it. I even created Ruyjin Republic in my hospital room lmao. I was homeschooled for a year and somehow I passed the tests even though I barely studied. After that I felt in an everlasting depression. I visited many therapists but none of them helped me. A year passed by and I decided to visit a psychiatrist. So I did. That was during December 2017. I spent 5 days in total in a child psychiatry and since then I'm taking antidepressants (Citalopram). I've learned to cope with my depression which will go away in some point. Life goes on though and nothing is everlasting.
