Shovkovskyi/Peter Those songs are called "Laika/Entexna" and it's some kind of traditional music or some folk sometimes as well so... yeah

perhaps, I'm the only one like this here, but I find it easier to judge the songs within a genre, because you only need to compare their quality without falling prey to something like "oh, I prefer metal over dance songs, that's why I'll rank it higher" (for example). (I hope it's possible to understand what I mean ) |

Has anybody ever thought about combining two of these ideas? actuleh: I have noticed some of you are interested in Traditional/Ethnic. To avoid lack of choices, we could have a theme such as "Forgotten genres" (folk, rap/hip-hop, traditional/ethnic, jazz opera, metal, soul, punk, funk, etc.) basically nothing too manistream. So if you don't like certain genre you don't have to vote for it. I understand it would be awkward if all songs would have to be of the same genre and you happen to not like it. So maybe my suggestion solves this problem. |

I would really love to have an edition for choirs - with videos, not images. Almost every country has this show called "Choir Wars" or something like that, which means they would be able to participate. I know most of the songs would be covers, but I think this would be a great chance not to only hear, but also see, what those choirs are capable of  |
