k, I'm wrong, Sofia Rotaru is also Ukrainian Sofia Rotaru has moldavian roots, if the internet doesn't lie yes, but Sofia is Sonya's aunt, so Sonya's relation to  Moldova doesn't seem to be sufficient |

@fizzyfrost MG Shovkovskyi/PeterPlease send me your sources concerning the artist of the  Russian entry that has been announced here in the thread which prove that she is not from Russia. Anton Don't worry, in case you are not able to send the artist then you will just need to change your entry.  |

@fizzyfrost OK, what about the source concerning her parents or so? her mother is a sister of a renowned  Ukrainian singer with Moldovan roots Sofia Rotaru, so she is not Russian either while her father... it's quite hard to find some info concerning his roots; the best thing I could find was this article in Russian, which states that he studied in the university in Poltava, so I really doubt that he is Russian... |

@fizzyfrost OK, what about the source concerning her parents or so? Wikipedia says Lidiya Rotaru (Sonya Key's mother) is Sofia's sister, so she's the same nationality as Sofia Rotaru. About her father there's no information about his nationality, but if he's art director of "Cheremosh" ensemble (ukrainian), then I guess he's ukrainian too. If he'd be something else, then I think there would be some information about it... |
