Pohunskia is currently getting ready to vote in the Pohunskan election that will make someone the President of Pohunskia. The parties under this are currently fighting for the position.

The Social Democratic Party of Pohunskia (SDPoP) - 2.5 Million members
The Pohunskan Green Party (PGP) - 2.2 million members
The Pohunskan Christian and Faith Party (PCaFP) - 700 thousand members
The Pohunskan Conservative and Unionist Part (PCaUP) - 1.1 million members
The Pohunskan Communist and Order Party (PCaP) - 100 thousand members
The Pohunskan Nazi Party (PNP) - 2 members (dumb asses)

The Republic of Pohunskia have voted and the results are being announced now! The winning party must have 170 seats out of 350 seats

The Pohunskan Communist and Order Party - 15 Seats

The Pohunskan Conservative and Unionist Party - 55

Pohunskia To Change It's Flag?

The new social democratic party has transformed Pohunskia from being a conservative capitalistic nation to a thriving social democracy since Andrea Bucko won the elections with e green party. The people of Pohunskia have been asking for a flag to represent their new ideology and social freedoms.

Outrage Over Communist Party Flag Proposal



The Pohunskan Communist party made an official Pohunskan communist flag for Pohunskia that angered many people within Pohunskia. People were seen outside the official HQ of the party burning the glass and holding banners saying "Communism is the most disgusting ideology on the earth" or "Being red is worse than death". As many as 2 million people signed a petition to ban the party for "bastardising the pure symbol of Pohunskia".

Andrea bucko had this to say on the situation, "We are a democratic country and banning the party for being communist or changing the flag is not right. I would like to see tolerance towards other ideologies and if you do not support them then do not vote for them."

Pohunskia to Host a National Selection?

Music labels across Pohunskia have agreed to fund and send artists from their labels hoping that their artists will represent Pohunskia in the biggest music contest in Fantasia. Some people who watch the show are saying "The entries we've sent so far have embarrassed our great nation and we should take it more seriously." Even the President Andrea Bucko is interested in singing for Pohunskia and she said that it would be a great honour to be the first president to compete.

Will this help us win the contest or will it be an expensive flop?

Pohunskia Sets Up New Space Agency



The United Pohunskan Space Agency has been set up for the Pohunskan people and the people of Fantasia. The Pohunskan space agency aims to make Pohunskia the leading nation in space research and to protect the planet against UFOs that may harm or wipe out humanity. UPSA is currently working on the creation of satellites that will serve Pohunskia and her allies to discover new things about our universe. The Pohunskan government is looking for investment for a new space station that will be the centre of research into space technology.

Pohunskan Monarchy Referendum?



A group of Pohunskans called the Pohunskan Monarchist society created an online petition to make Olya the first queen of Pohunskia. Over 500,000 Pohunskans have signed this petition and more are planning to sign saying it will be a great thing to attract tourists.

We went to the streets to see what the public think about this,



"Sir what do you think about Olya being the Pohunskan queen?"
"I'd love it!"

"Ok thats what the public says but will there be a referendum? We will find out in a week."

Pohunskan Monarchy Referendum Results

Pohunskans everywhere voted on whether their country would have Olya Polyakova as their queen. About 85% of people voted in this referendum and here are the results.
