New Dýrian artist finally selected!
The national broadcaster of Dýria has finally announced who their new participant will be, and who will be going off to Kerwan for the next edition.
DRTV proudly presents..
Tove Lo!
Tove, born in Northern Dýria, was revealed to be the next Dýrian artist for the Fantasia Contest. Originally, BYRTA were to be selected by the broadcaster. However due to time conflicts, the group backed down. Immediately after that, Tove was contacted by DRTV and she accepted the invitation to take part in the contest.
Upon speaking to DRTV, she stated that:
"I'm glad my country's broadcaster chose me to be their act. I observed the first Fantasia live from Evergreen, and was disappointed that La Roux only came 24th. But then, when I heard my country's broadcaster cancelled BYRTA, I accepted the invite once I was asked. This will be a new experience for me as I have not taken part in the contest before. Also, my ancestry goes back to Kerwan, and I'm proud to take part in the country."
Her song will be presented tomorrow or Tuesday. There's a choice between two songs, which a jury panel on DRTV will vote on.
