A Chance for Norway #1 (MSC #26 NS)

So, even though I'm currently unsure if Norway is going to qualify to the final of the current MSC edition in Venezuela, I am currently organizing a National Selection for the next Norwegian entry. You all can suggest songs in this thread, but heat/semi-final planning will be after the final results. This will give the new Norway player (me) a quick lesson into the Norwegian culture.




I will have a poll up on this thread too. You can choose the limit of songs I should have in the selection- 10, 15, 20, or 25 songs. I will check the poll in a week, and the top vote getter in a week will be the final song submission amount.

Alrighty. I'm gonna close the poll early My next post will be how many songs will be submitted from the poll choices!




EDIT: 10 songs was the winner with 3 votes, followed by 15 songs with 2 votes.



I'm going to open a google form. 10 songs can be submitted for each heat, but only 5 can stay/advance to the semi-final. Out of the 5 songs, 3 will be chosen to advance to the final. 6 songs will remain for the final. I will have a set voting scale and the song with the most votes will represent Norway in the Mysterious Song Contest #26!

A Chance for Norway Announcement!!!!

When the semi-final results were announced yesterday, Norway/Alexander Rybak was announced as a qualifier for the final, currently in voting stages. Which means more planning for the NS! In the next spoiler will be a link to an official submission form. Because some videos tend to not be available in my country (United States), when your submission is received, I will have a star next to the submission if the original video sent cannot be viewed in the United States. That will mean you have to PM me another video. If the second video doesn't work, I'll find one. It may mean that the NS might be delayed or cancelled. lf the NS is cancelled, the Norwegian entry will be internally selected, like Alexander Rybak this edition was.

Due to the United States' holidays approaching (Thanksgiving and Christmas) coming up, depending on the deadline (unless Norway is somehow AQ'd), I may consider cancelling the NS and opt for an internal selection. I will start listening to the suggested songs on my form. I most likely will choose one of those songs if in the instance the NS is cancelled and an internal selection takes place.
