02.MØRLANDKjetil Mørland hails from Grimstad in Norway, but has lived most of his life in England.
British pop music influences his sound combining clean melodies with personal and heartfelt lyrics.
More upbeat than “A Monster Like Me”, the song builds steadily before reaching an epic final chorus — all driven by Mørland’s haunting vocals. Modern, catchy and surprisingly moving, this song is all kinds of amazing.

03.CHINOOKYes, she's back! Everyone remembers Chinook Lamers as the big favourite of DNS 9 with the Dutch roots that came second.
What’s the song like? A super catchy and uplifting pop track with a soulful undertone. The post-chorus is the best bit. Who doesn’t love a bit of familiar repetition in pop music? Written by? Frida Amundsen and Varren Wade, and produced by Norwegian duo Loveless.

04.THE WELLWho are The Well? A five piece band from the West Coast of Norway, newcomers in the music industry.
Yeah but who ARE they? Ah. That’d be Freddy Bertheussen Brurås (Vocal), TJ Bertheussen Brurås (Drums), Oliver Brurås Vandvik (Keys), Andrew Brurås Vandvik (Bass), and Ollie Minde Nese (Guitar).
What’s "Sierra" like? ‘Tis one of those tracks that is brilliantly unclassifiable by genre. Let’s just say that it lures you in with an 80s-esque synth verse, packs an almighty punch with a growling bridge, and wait – yes – there it is – shades of TROPICAL HOUSE for what we can’t decide is either a chorus or post-chorus. A thoroughly enjoyable listen, this one.

05.SERVEDA new Nordic girlband?! Kinda. They took the 6th place in DNS 11 with "Få Meg Til Å Le". This time they return with "La Meg Være Ung".
Who are they? Christine Bergan Yang, Marian Martinez and Thea DeWahl. All 19 years old, and all from in and around Oslo. Thea has replaced original member Fanny.
What’s the song like? A downbeat yet super catchy r&b pop ballad with a big chanting chorus with the sizable beats to match.
What do they say about the song? In short – it’s about accepting people the way they are, and learning to understand how everyone’s differences can contribute positively to society.
