Once we've started about statistics, here's another statistic about Latvia in Retro WWWSC: I calculated how many points in total and how many points on average Latvia has scored in Retro WWWSC #1 - #93 (excluding #70, because Latvia didn't qualify for the final) Here are the numbers: Total points scored - 4816Average points scored per edition: 52,35So if I get 52 points on average each edition and there's about 28-29 people participating in each edition (on average) - that means on average I score about 1,8 points per person each edition. Azerbaijani statistics:
Total points scored: 4145 Average points scored per edition: 53,14 Total editions participated: 78
I think my average is lower than Azerbaijan and Latvia together 😜

Still don't get how it placed 18th, perhaps some confused the instrumental music for the song? In any case, it was a robbery imo.

Happy Anniversary to Retro WWWSC! I am very happy to see how our first ever sub-contest has managed to stand out and attract loads of interest! In fact, calling Retro WWWSC a sub-contest feels a bit weird as I guess it could perfectly survive on its own, even if the main contest stopped or whatsoever and this is of course all thanks to Laurinda! I have seen many instances of players being keen on running sub-contests for contests they participate in and then stopping after a few editions because of being tired or because of having lost their interest and I am very happy that this hasn't been the case with Retro! Thank you very much for all the great work and effort you've put in the contest Laurinda and all the best wishes for many more interesting editions to come!

Yay #46 lol. Also I had no idea it was going to include 5 songs from the first decade. I mean I always knew that Whitney Houston was going to be here, but didn't have the others on my screen (anymore).

About the update of the rules: Laurinda what was the decision on the editions #104 and #108 to be the pre-2000s editions? Also may I suggest the "final" date for songs to be eligible to be 31. December 2010 instead. It's probably easier to have the final date of eligible "between" 2 decades if you know what I mean.
