Yeah...I know this is late, but it's finally here! The confirmations are open for USAvision Song Contest #02 in Memphis, Tennessee!

Also, there's a poll over whether or not I should PM more people to join or not - I know it's a silly question, but I'm worried it will piss people off.

Rules -

General -
1. Unlike most contests, Eurovision songs are allowed. (e.g. / András Kállay-Saunders can compete with "Running")

2. Covers are allowed as long as they haven't already competed for another artist previously in the contest.

3. You may set up national selections if this contest gets a board.

4. Players must compete with their state for 5 editions before changing (EDIT - This rule will be removed in edition #03)

5. If you do not vote in an edition, you will be disqualified and will receive a strike. Three strikes will lead to you being banned from the contest.

If you do not vote, but have a good reason, you will still be disqualified but will not receive a strike.

6. Replacers are forbidden. I'm sorry, but I've never seen the purpose of them.

7. Please PM your top 11 to Tufkai . Voting is - , i.e. Eurovision style, but extra votes are required in case one of the countries in your top 10 gets disqualified.

8. Minimum number of players is 7. The player limit is 50. If the number of competitors exceeds 26, pre-qualifier methods will be considered

Who can and can't compete?

1. Only the fifty states of the USA are eligible for this contest, so no territories or Washington D.C.

2. The singer must have been born in the raised, or have origins there. If you are sending a group, only one member needs to have roots from the state.

3. Borrowing is mostly forbidden in this contest. The only exception is Maryland is allowed to borrow from Washington D.C.

4. An artist may not be sent twice in a row, or compete for more than one state in the same contest

That's fine. I will probably change the rule by the next edition, but it still stands for now.
