 Australia are proud to announce that Delta Goodrem will represent us in Denmark with her song 'Dear Life'.
Real reason why I chose it:
You're probably sick of me by now, but this is the second song that I've recently felt the lyrics basically speak how I feel/explain my life.
At the end of February I was told that I had depression. I didn't believe in myself, I practically hated my life, I didn't want to wake up in the morning, I cried all the time, I even cried at people criticising the smallest things about me here on the forum, but because I started to let myself believe in love again, I recently was cleared of depression and I got employed back into teaching.
So on Thursday, I'm moving back to Thailand (for a 3rd time) to teach English and there's a main lyric that really speaks out to me "dear life, am I doing this right?".
So the reason why I've chosen this song is because its personal to me, not because she's Delta Goodrem.

 Breaking NewAfter having announced the official participation in the upcoming edition of IMF and having also organised a NS in order to choose the entry, YLE announced later today that  Finland is forced to withdraw from this edition of IMF. Main reason is an important decrease in the funds that the broadcaster can use for cultural activities, therefore deciding to focus on the national ones (rumors also suggest that one of the other reason is the poor results achieved in the last editions which pushed the HoD in quitting from his position!). A future comeback is still being discussed! Sorry guys and sorry Florian for this but I'm really getting more and more busy with my life, especially with university (I'm quite at the ending of my career and right now I'm working at my final degree so I'm a lot stressed). So I decided to withdraw from some contests, especially the ones in which I haven't ever had good results! I will keep on following the contest obviously.

ISRAEL TO PARTICIPATE IN THE IMF #34!
IBA confirmed thet  Israel will take part in the International Music Festival #34.
After a lot of talks, we finally decided about our presence in the next edition.
The singer and the song have been already selected.
Our representative, along with the  Israeli entry will be revealed really soon! |
