İctimai TV has reaffirmed that Azerbaijan won't compete in the 7th edition but will very likely in the 8th. The hod is not leaving his position but rather the country takes a break.

Portugal confirms for the 7th edition Today it has been announced that Portugal will participate in the 7th edition. However RTP won't be the broadcaster any longer. They decided that the GvSC will now belong to their subsidiary RTP Internacional. "We are very happy that we have the honor to replace our big brother RTP. We will try our best to achieve the best results and bring the contest to Portugal in the future!" It has also been announced, that they most probably will send the winner of their old NS "Portugal goes Internacional", as long as he/she will get the approval by the GBU.
