Well, I want to say first that YASSSSS, THE TIME IS ALMOST NEAR, WE WILL FIND OUT THE ACTS SOON!!!! Second, I'm suprised that The Fooo Conspiracy even applied for #melfest, because most of really popular Swedish singers won't do #melfest, even if it's the matter of their life. They are finalists for sure, due to their huge fanbase. As I remember Elisa, I wasn't so fond of her "Casanova". IMO, it was very bad and kitschy, but who knows, maybe she has a new music style. And I hope Lisa Ajax won't have a cringeworthy name of the song like "My Heart Wants Me Dead". And last but not least... OMFG IDA LAFONTAINE, SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

SVT's hunting two times ESC participant, Tommy Körberg
Nöjesbladet has once again reached new information about the participants for Melodifestivalen next year.
For next year, they're hunting two times Swedish Eurovision representetive, Tommy Körberg, for Melfest 2017.
Sources tell that Tommy is in the middle of making a song that SVT wants to have in the competition, but it's no new "Judy min vän" or "Stad i Ljus", as he is in a collaboration with the metalcore-/synthrock band, Dead by April.
Another source tells us that Tommy Körberg is not really sure if he'd want to participate in Melfest again, but SVT is hoping to do everything to get him to change his mind.
Tommy Körberg has represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest both in 1969 and in 1988 with his songs "Judy min vän" (Judy my friend), and "Stad i Ljus" (City in Lights), finishing 9th and 12th. He also teamed up with Claes Malmberg, Johan Rabaeus & Mats Ronander to create Ravaillacz to perform in Melfest 2013. With their song "En riktig jävla schlager", they managed to directly qualify to the final, and land on a 10th place in the final with 40 points.
Dead by April was once a interval act in Melfest back in 2011, but was also a main participant in Melfest 2012. With their song "Mystery", they managed to directly qualify to the final, and land on a 7th place with a total of 52 points.
Would a old man schlager combined with metalcore be a good combination for Melfest?

No man who was involved in Ravaillacz mustn't enter Melodifestivalen AGAIN.

Nöjesbladet has been taking their time trying to find the next Melfest participants for next year, but meanwhiles, I believe we've found another act that is confirmed for next year.
Bianca Ingrosso posted on her blog the 19th of October that she is thrilled and excited for the news that she got.
"Yesterday I found out about the most amazing news! This is so big and I am so happy and thankful. I can't believe this is happening to me!"
She also revealed that she can't reveal what is gonna happen, and that she might be having a tight schedule for the next couple of years.
Now, this might not be a Melfest announcement, as it suggests by the "tight schedule", as Melfest participant doesn't take up that much time, but that tight schedule might just be a music contract, and it could also possibly mean that she could still be part of Melfest, as for the reason that she can't reveal to the public what the big news are.
We'll just have to wait and find out!
Bianca Wahlgren Ingrosso, 21, is a Swedish singer and blogger. She tried to represent Sweden in JESC 2006, together with her friend.
She is also the daughter of Pernilla Wahlgren (MF 2010, 2013) and the sister of Benjamin Ingrosso. Both Pernilla and Benjamin were part of Let's Dance, where Benjamin himself won in 2014. Bianca herself also got her chance in Let's Dance 2016, where she managed to place 2nd, right after Elisa Lindström.

Nöjesbladet Calling pt. 2
Today, several more artists were revealed by Nöjesbladet to be part of Melfest 2017. These artists are:
Alice Svensson Robin Bengtsson Ace Wilder Boris René Wiktoria Johansson Mariette Hansson Axel Schylström John Lundvik
Many of you probably remember some of these artists from the 2016th Melfest, where we saw Robin, Ace, Boris and Wiktoria. Mariette competed in 2015, coming 3rd with her song "Don't Stop Believing".
Alice Svensson and Axel Schylström are both newcomers to Melfest, both former participants of Idol. Alice was a runner up from 2008, whilst Axel came 4th in 2015.
John Lundvik is a new face, ever for me. He has been a song writer, and is also a previous athlete.
Together, these acts will compete with Ida LaFontaine, Lisa Ajax, The Fooo, Les Gordons and Elisa Lindström.
What do you think of the artists?

Well, I was never a fan of her song except BDN, which is my anthem of being lazy. But we'll see if she will suprise me, since it's rumoured that G:son wrote the song.

The artists announced so far has a interesting connection with each other.
From Idol participants, we have:
Robin Bengtsson ('08, 3rd) Alice Svensson ('08, 2nd) Mariette Hansson ('09, 4th) Lisa Ajax ('14, 1st) Axel Schylström ('15, 4th)
And even that, we have some artists that even tried to represent Sweden in JESC, those being:
Elisa Lindström ('05) Ida LaFontaine ('11) Wiktoria ('11) Lisa Ajax ('12)
A interesting line-up nonetheless.
