Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017

Ida LaFontaine got scrapped of the list, unfortunately,
but there're still sources saying that she is still current for the competition, but it's just not 100% official.

Kalle Moraeus, a famous singer in Sweden, got rejected of a place in next years Melfest.
The reason being that, as Kalle has made several apperances in SVT, mostly as a host, SVT is afraid of falsly accusations on SVT,
which meant that they had to unfortunately reject him to compete.
(There's also a rule that states that noone working with SVT is allowed to compete, so nothing wrong with this at all).

Lisa Ajax's song is reported to be written by "The Family" a.k.a. Anton Hård af Segerstad, Linnea Deb and Joy Deb,
who, if you all remember, has written songs as "You", "Busy Doin' Nothin'" and "Heroes".

EDIT: Robin Stjernberg is gonna return next year as well, as a songwriter for Robin Bengtsson this time.

Maybe you know him because he's the singer of Lines and Colours? I remember they had a live performance on HTV1 and he has worse singing skills than Elhaida Dani.

Actually, he is Swedish (and lives in Sweden), but the father of one L&C member is rich and he could pay some advertisements of his boy's band. When they brought this guy, they said they are going to conquor international music markets, but they flopped hardly in that.

Also, according to Tobbe Ek's latest blog entry, Tommy Körberg & Dead By April won't be competing in MF 2017.

The same goes for Doug Seegers, Ida Redig, Nya Vikingarna, Sean Banan, Martin Almberg and Amanda Winberg (TBH, I'M DYING INSIDE), who have all either submitted or been offered songs.

He hasn't received any definitive news regarding whether Ida LaFontaine is in or out.
