Okay so this is old news (like over a week ago lol) but I hadn't seen any posts about it but apparently Requiem was filmed being performed in 2015 which obviously is waaaaay before the deadline so there's a possibility it could be banned, but maybe not, like how 1944 wasn't banned. I've been watching her performance at the Ukrainian final a few times to see what I think, and her vocals are definitely still shaky, but I like how they've brought the song down so she can more easily sing some of the higher notes. I remember cringing so hard at that other live performance that was on Youtube earlier where she butchered most of it lol, so this is a good improvement. Also, I hope this isn't any indication of what the final staging's gonna be, because I can see some sassy walking down the catwalk in the middle of the stage really working well for this  It's not eye-catching enough if she's just standing there most of the time on her own. |
