REMINDER Send your predictions to me by PM ! Deadline : Tonight at 20:59 CET Predictions sent after the deadline will (obviously) not be accepted. FINAL Portugal - France
The system of points is still the same: 3 points if you predict the right winner 5 points if you predict the right goal difference 7 points if you predict the exact result
If there are extensions, only the final score will matter. You just have to specify the winner if you predict a win on penalties.

This is an outrage. Bad EURO, and a very bad EURO winner. France was the best team, then Germany, then Belgium, then Iceland, then Italy. I believe that the only mention-worthy player from portugal was Rui Patricio. Good goalkeeping. I'll give them that. But in all, this final is an outrage. Portugal 2016 = Greece 2004. The taste of revenge is very, very sour.

Congratulations to Portugal. I'm happy for the people in the country that they can feel joy and happiness. Enjoy this moment! That being said, I'm not really happy about this Euro Cup. You know, when Spain won 2008+2010+2012, we all knew: Yeah, they won because they play awesome combination football with amazing players like Casillas, Iniesta, Xavi, Torres, Villa, Silva, Fabregas, Puyol, Alonso, Pique, etc. When Germany won in 2014, we all knew: Yeah, they won because they play dominant possession football and have world-class players on every position, plus goalkeeper Manuel Neuer legendarily revolutionized the job of a goalkeeper. And this year, we could say about Italy: They had a really good defense, played good counter-attack football and had their iconic Gianluigi Buffon. About Iceland we could say that they had an extremely harmonious squad, fantastic team spirit and brilliant long throw-ins. About Belgium we could say that they had great talented players and a joyful playing strategy. About France we could say that they played awesome heavy offense with players like Griezmann, Pogba and Giroud. And then there is Portugal. I can't think of any sportive thing that I will remember from Portugal. All I was thinking was: What are they doing? Why are they even there? Why do they get the easiest opponents possible? How did they even survive the group stage? I remember how Spain in 2010 became the world champion by winning every game only 1:0. I didn't like this minimalistic way of winning. Can you imagine how I feel now about Portugal? Apart from Wales, they didn't win a single game after 90 minutes. They were not even minimalistic. They were lucky. More facts: β’ Portugal was the 18th country in this Euro Cup to win a game; that means only 6 countries were worse in this regard. β’ 9 countries won more games than Portugal; among this is for example Iceland. β’ Antoine Griezmann (6) alone scored almost as many goals as the entire Portuguese team (7) in regular time.

Once again I fully agree with this ; yet tonight, even without Ronaldo, Portugal played really well ; they were able to maintain their energy and kept on attacking until the end. Their dominance became clearer after 90 minutes and the goal they scored is deserved. I'm still mad about one or two things like Gignac's fail at 90+2 (so close...), but anyway I wouldn't feel legit saying Portugal stole his victory.
However this may only apply for the final match. I agree that they were really disappointing in the group phase and that they met the "easiest" opponents before tonight. But well, they won, for the first time (and had their revenge after 2004...) so we have to deal with it. Congratulations Portugal.

Now, at least people can say that Portugal can still win without Cristiano.
