OPENING MATCH
The first game of the last night was host
Atlandia playing against newcomers of the World Cup 
Frootania in the JAGGERS® Football Island Stadium located in the city of Lechamp, West Borgine. The crowd is rallied up fall of Atlandians from the opening ceremonies a couple of minutes ago. The match started out pretty slow with missed opportunity of goals from each side. In the 32nd minute Frootanian defender Eustachio Alfero tripped Atlandian forward Grey Jones causing him to be injured for the rest of the game. In the 65th minute Atlandian Colton Atteberry passed the ball to set up the perfect goal for Lenard Rennoll making it his first in the World Cup. The Atlandians had another chance during the 70th minute when Sherwood Parsons shot the ball towards the net but got blocked by Frootanian goalie Laurențiu Ricci. The Atlandian lead didn't last quite long when in the 74th when Frootanian defender Simion Parisi kicked the ball from the other side of the field to set up a quite amazing goal. Nothing happened in the remaining 20 minutes so the game stayed tied 1-1 til the whistle blew.
