Time to reveal the entry for
Latvia !As it was announced earlier, an internal selection was held in order to select the next
Latvian act for the contest.Tonight the broadcaster officially revealed the winner.
The singer who will represent
Latvia next edition is... 
Masha ! 
Masha Shirin (not to be confused with a little Russian girl hanging out with a bear) was born in
Latviain the beginning of the 90's.
She moved to
United States when she was young and currently lives in New Jersey.In January 2014, she was chosen by a judging panel highlighted by Fall Out Boy, Emeli SandΓ©, and Austin Mahone
as one of 40 finalists out of more than 2,000 competing American singers and bands for the CBS Grammy Gig of a Lifetime.
After this late success, she was invited by the
Latvian delegation to represent her second home countryin the biggest European musical contest.
Her song is a new single from her, sung in English, and released on the independant label Weirdo Workshop.
