EMMA MARRONE

EMMA MARRONE - "Arrivera L'Amore"


Another breakout star of a singing talent show, she won Amici in 2010 and has experienced varying levels of success since. The peak of her career was in 2012, where she won La Canzone and her success continued all the way into 2014, where she had a massive number one hit with "La Mia Citta", which became one of 2014's highest selling singles. After a year of moderate success in the charts, Emma is ready to launch herself back into stardom. Emma previously tried to represent Lakadamia, where her father comes from.

MOLLY PETTERSSON HAMMAR

MOLLY PETTERSSON HAMMAR - "Liberate"


Winner of Glaraian Idol 2011, Molly was originally predicted as an 'Idol fade-away' after she failed to stay relevant in the music charts after her victory. However she released and performed her single "I'll Be Fine" on Glaray Showcase in 2015, which went to number one. Her follow up single "Something Right" was a Top 20 hit, and her 2016 single "Hunger" topped the charts and continues to be a popular song to date. Her competing song is already experiencing massive success, so she is expected to be a favourite.

FINLAY TATE

FINLAY TATE - "Control"


A fan favourite of last year's X Factor who was shockingly eliminated early in the competition, Finlay Tate makes her debut with "Control", which has already shown strong sales on the charts. It looks like a promising debut for Finlay Tate, and her contention for the Fantasia Contest only adds to her credentials.

THE SCORE - "Oh My Love"


Moving to Eldance after graduating university to start their music career, The Score achieved a minor hit last year with "Oh My Love", and their participation in The Song hopes to bring them much needed exposure to be the breakout stars of this year. Singing in Engju and being a commercial pop song could mean the duo may stand out.

RULES AND VOTING

- There will be four shows in total - the established artists semi final, newcomers semi final, the repechage round and the grand final.
- Each show will have a one week voting window (except for the repechage round, where the voting deadline will be shortened to 3 days).

The qualifiers are determined as follows:
- For each of the semi finals, there will be five qualifiers that will advance directly to the grand final.
- The three lowest scoring entries will also be eliminated. The songs that finish 5th and 6th will advance to the repechage round, where four songs will compete for the last remaining spot in the final.

VOTING
- Countries who vote must use the standard Fantasia Contest voting system (1-7, 8, 10 and 12 points). This doesn't apply to the Repechage Round.
- Those who do not have a country but wish to vote anyway will have their votes added to the FCFC (Fantasia Contest Fan Club) vote. Unless stated otherwise or the voting was done with the HoD prior to the submission of votes, all Co-HoD submitted points will be added to the FCFC vote.

The first semi final will kick off tomorrow!


RUNNING ORDER

The running order was created with the specific intention to allow all songs to stand out, whilst keeping fairness.
To keep fairness and prevent bias when placing songs, the first, last and central (5th & 6th) places in the running order were drawn randomly.
The songs were then ordered respectively by genre, to allow each song to stand out from one another.
