Despite earlier official comments circling the cancellation of the Israeli NS, the contest will take place.

The NS will be much shorter than last time due to lack of time, and only 10 elimination rounds will take place, instead of the old format.
The show will last two months instead of 3.5, so the Israeli entry will be announced much earlier
