Slovenian NS for WWWSC #51

I am happy to introduce the new National Selection format for SSoA!

From now on I'm planning to have selections for at least some of the next editions.

Each edition will have a theme which will be described with key words.

I will pick two (of my favourite) songs that belong to those key words.

You will be presented with a shortlist of songs (that also fit to the key words).

Each contestant is allowed (not obliged) to "save" or give one song from that list a chance in the National Selection.

You are also allowed to suggest something else (but it must fit to the theme).

One contestant can "save" only one song but can also ask others to save a certain song.

Songs will later be voted for, most likely in a poll.

I decided to do this, because my list of songs is getting longer and longer each day and it makes me sad I can't give them a chance. Some keep being pushed back until I finally take them off the list. So I decided to change things up.

Hopefully enough of you are interested to make this work and make it fun and exciting.

You will have around 3 days to suggest. Then the voting starts.

Your idea is good but I think that the list is just too long for people to spend time listening to all those songs...Making a recap would help or so. Or you could just add less songs and let people suggest their own.

P.S. I wouldn't call Torul's song a ballade... It's too agressive to be a ballade imo... but maybe I just don't fully understand the rules...

You can wait until some songs are saved, so you don't have much work Would also be easier if you listened to what I play in TT and in the charts
The point in the end it not to have a NS with 12 songs.

I would fit that song in the "chill" or "slow" categories. I was the most sceptic about "Love Me For Life", but it's not the point in being strict

There's no point in doing that. If everything you like is "saved" already then you don't have to do it.
You'll be able to vote for all the "saved" songs plus the two I picked in the NS.
