A better solution would be that every song that has been revealed in the threads are locked to compete in that edition. Unless the player has actually given the information to the owner that they might switch entries before the owners has made the banner and everything, then I guess It should be fine Why I think the entries that has been revealed in the threads should be locked to compete, is that I think it would just look ugly with two confirmation posts for the same country. (And yes, I do realise that I did that as well, and tbh I still find it ugly whether it was my entry or not).

As I already said yesterday, I won't join, because Supernova starts alomst at the same time and that's my priority this evening, because I don't have anything to see immediately in awards anyway... and recaps I can watch tomorrow, when I will also vote... P.S. How many countries have already changed their entries this edition? I think it's a record for this contest... I mean, it already starts to look like ESC, when country changes their entry (or at least the language), when they realize that the first one won't be good enough... I would suggest to give those "penalty points" to countries that change their entry like this as well, because I know that hosts don't like this and many of us most likely as well... I mean, I've wanted to change my entry multiple times, because there was at least as good song coming out just before the edition starts, but I never did, because I know that I can wait... you're scared it will become overused? It won't, trust me... and even if it does, it still will not affect the voting for it, because it's still a new song (max 1 month old)... for me the situation will be similar - Supernova will end before #52 edition even starts and the best songs will be used in other contests, but it doesn't mean that I will change something in the last minute... maybe not the best comparison, but you know what I mean... you may agree with me or disagree, but this situation just isn't right... no offence to anyone, just a suggestion to make up your mind early next time... As Mimis explained, this wasn't a last minute change, I checked the situation with the hosts long before the deadline. They allowed me to send two songs in a preference order and my first choice got automatically picked after it sadly didn't win A Dal. Since we have only about 10 editions a year, I guess everyone wants to do the right choices, we don't have many chances to "experiment" especially if a country doesn't have a huge music industry. Sorry if this triggers you, I only asked for this allowance because A Dal ended just one day after the deadline which seemed acceptable. I would have of course sent something else in case the hosts disagreed.

I'm one of those small music industries as well, and as you know, I rarely get even a top10 result, so for me it's even harder than you... I mean, I would blame myself if it would be only my music taste to blame, but also from user suggestions basically none has made a difference - I've actually got better results in general with my own choices...

Let's start with the 51st Edition!Just as last time, we have 3 semi-finals, this time with 16 participants each. Welcome to our new players for Costa Rica, South Korea, Spain and welcome back to returning New Zealand!
Czech Republic, Moldova and Taiwan are automatically qualified for the final. They're allowed to vote in all 3 semi-finals. All other players have to vote in the semi-final they're in.
The Top 7 will qualify directly to the final, the places 8-10 from each semi-final make it to the Second Chance Round. From all remaining songs, one will be chosen by the admins as wildcard, making it 10 participants in the SCR.
Good luck to everyone and enjoy the music! Voting deadline: 27th of February
