Her pronunciation of the lyrics is just bad. Otherwise, the song is nice, but compared to other ballads this year, it's very average. Will it qualify? I predict they'll barely qualify.
[rant]Russia really wants to keep participating in ESC because clearly they love to participate, but I think their delegation's goal this year is to survive in Ukraine. If they really wanted to win, they would have given Julia a different song. (If she wrote the song herself, my previous statement is invalid.) Sending Julia this year is reasonable considering the political tension between the two countries. It is easier and less insensitive to boo an able-bodied person than a disabled one. If the audience boos regardless of because it's Russia or not, it will be an act of absolute disrespect. Even if the boos are directed to the country, Julia (or any other representative) will get the worst of it because she is the representative of said country. This statement is also applicable to 2014 and 2015. Russia is more than just the Kremlin. I sure bet that there are Russians out there who don't care about politics and have their own goals and dreams not related to that field. I'm tired of politics getting in the way of everything, but unfortunately, it's been there to begin with. [/rant]

So apparently she performed in Crimea after the annexation which broke Ukrainian law and might wind up being banned from entering the country This year is actually turning into a tabletop RPG at this rate....

Tbh I don't blame Ukraine banning people from entering. Russia INVADED Ukraine. Imagine if this happened in WW2 and Germany right after taking part of the Czech Republic Germany sang in Prague in a music festival. So pls...
The song is boring for me.

After we received amazing acts like Dima,SEREBRO,Alsou,Sergey & Polina we get this??? I wish I can give this a 0 but that is uneligible. Before I heard this song,I already knew that Russia was going to get booed this year (VERY BOOED) but by sending this, they're only making it worse

Honestly idk 1. Thanks for opening my eyes to the fact that the abbreviation for "Flame is Burning" is "fib", because that's exactly what this song is. 2. Happened to me with Romania 2016. I only started to like it because it was disqualified.
