Swiss Rising Star (SRS) announced as the Swiss NS for IMF #38.

"SRS is a cool abbreviation", says head of the Swiss broadcasting authority, "It sounds just like SRG SSR". He then explained, "We love advertising ourselves, so we got that going for us, which is nice."
The format was replaced with a much better, more useful one.
The following is a brief explanation:
There will be 4 days of auditions
1st day: 19-21 April
2nd day: 23-25 April
3rd day: 27-29 April
4th day: 1-2 May
Each day we will visit a different side of Switzerland.
North, then South, then East, and in the final day - the West.
All countries may apply as juries (there will be 4 juries per round)
The juries will give "Red" or "Blue" if they dislike or like the artist (respectively).
8 Artists from each side of the country will perform per day.
All artists that receive over 70% will then continue to the 2nd round.
In the 2nd round (to take place 4-5 May), all artists that qualified from the audition round will perform a different (original) song.
We call it the "2nd Song Round".
10 best results qualify to the 3rd round.
The 3rd round will be the most effective, and the shortest.
A draw will decide the division of the 10 artists to 5 duels.
Jury and audience voting will not take place in this part of the national selection.
You forumers (HoDs and Non-HoDs) will vote in each of the duels, thus deciding the identity of the 5 duel winners.
The duels will take place May 6th. Only May 6th.
These 5 duel winners will proceed to the SUPERFINAL.
They will perform their IMF entries, in hope of representing the small nation of Switzerland in the International Music Festival 38!

The winner of the superfinal gets to represent Switzerland in IMF #38!
Winner to be announced May 10th.
